Hilarious. Especially after some rip roarin' bong hits. One of those stupid stoner movies that I seem to relate to. Never been to White Castle, but my buddies and I went on similar late night stoned-out-of-our-minds food runs pretty often in college. We called them weed crazy adventures. Good times.edit: Plus, Ive been on my own White Castle late night runs. Good times.

Didnt like that one as much. I can only take so much Kelso and Stifler in one sitting. Has a few laughs though. What are your thoughts on Dude Where's My Car?Hilarious. Well I may be female after all. Or at least turning gay. NTTAWWT.I really liked it. I though it was a very touching love story.I'm married. That just means I'm emasculated. Not completely female.Hotel Rwanda -I have on the shelf at home:
Hotel Rwanda
The Notebook
Crash
Reviews will be forthcoming.![]()
The Notebook - Didn't realize that you were a woman
Crash - Meh. Seriously overrated. I don't see why it's so well regarded. It has one point, and bludgeons the viewer with it.
Yeah it's a decent flick. It surpassed my expectations, which, I must admit, were low. Worth watching.Flight Plan with Jodie Foster - Anyone see this yet? (forgive me if it has been mentioned already)

And I think Rachel McAdams may be at the top of my "it girl" list, even ahead of Johannsen or Theron. She's maybe not as beautiful as those two, but she is more attractive.![]()
awful. I turned it off halfway through. Just awful. I have to even wonder if either of these guys or the writers ever smoked pot at all. It was an insult to people who DO smoke weed. That scene with the girls taking a dump was painfully bad and the drive thru scene wasn't any better. just dumb. waste of my time and money.I'm curious to hear what others here have to say about Harold and Kumar go to Whitecastle. I don't know that it IS that simple here anymore, but not owning a gun myself, I don't know for certain. I think the US passed a bill a while back that required a background check before a firearms purchase. somebody can correct me if wrong. All that said, this is a pretty telling statement, IMO.The Girl Next Door. Should have seen this ages ago. Elisha is![]()
Crash - Thought it was ok. Being a Canadian, I think it is just crazy that you can go into a corner store and buy a gun in the US. For some reason this movie had more of an effect on me in that regard than the Columbine flick.
just rented this todaySaw Red Eye - so soFlight Plan with Jodie Foster - Anyone see this yet? (forgive me if it has been mentioned already)
Fair enough. I'm just basing what I said off the movie, which probably isn't the right thing to do. Just watching the middle-eastern shop owner sitting out in front of the locksmiths house, walking right up to him and firing off a shot is really powerful in my books (if that is what things are really like in some parts). It's hard for me to imagine having a real fear of my kid just going out into our front yard and there is the possibility that he may get shot. FWIW I live in a city of 1M+ so I'm not in a small town or anything.I don't know that it IS that simple here anymore, but not owning a gun myself, I don't know for certain. No, it is hard to imagine. Especially as a parent. And while I do think the movie made it seem very easy to get a gun, I don't think it's all that hard either. There's also an enormous black market for guns here. I imagien many of the crimes committed with hand guns are the result of unregistered guns procured illegally. That's just a guess.Fair enough. Firearm crime has plummeted in recent years. No, it is hard to imagine. Especially as a parent. Most cities in the US have areas where crime is more prevalent. Poverty is a breeding ground for crime and there is too much poverty in America. Also, too many guns....IMO. A bad mix.
omgSaw the Bill Murray movie "Broken Flowers"....

seems like a lot of ppl enjoyed saw, but to me, i thought it was hilarious...in a bad way.i ended up watching saw 2, and i thought it was a lot better than the original and enjoyed it.Anyone seen Saw II, I saw the first one and thought it was not very good. Is the 2nd one better.
Agreed. Also saw the latest "Underworld" movie, and it is what it is. I found it slightly better than the first one, but you're not missing anything if you wait for cable.I saw The Island this weekend.
Nice concept, terrible implemetation.
Overall, a horrible movie.
This movie was a bore. Without Morgan Freeman's voice over I doubt it would have garnered the attention it did. They could have edited the movie down to 15 minutes and you would not have missed anything.march of the penguins. very inspiring especially for parents. loved it.
Also saw this this weekend, also a4 Brothers-(I liked it, but someone thought it was horrible. Far from bad, very entertaining. I guess it can be dissapointing if you expected it to be best picture))
Saw "Lord of War", and this reminded me of the style of "Blow". Good movie.Took a couple FBG recommends, and watched "Audition". The 1st hour and 15 minutes were enjoyable enough to keep my interest, but that last 15 minutesA group of five graduate student roommates in Iowa fall into a descent that leads to murder after an accidental meeting leads them to search out extremists in the local community. The friends suggest that, having ridden the world of one bad person, they should continue to do the same thing every Sunday night at supper.
disagree. do u usually enjoy documentaries? This movie was a bore. I agree. It started out slow, but finished nicely.Yeah it's a decent flick. It surpassed my expectations, which, I must admit, were low. Worth watching.Flight Plan with Jodie Foster - Anyone see this yet? (forgive me if it has been mentioned already)
Just watched March of the Penguins tonight. I was looking forward to seeing this and I love documentaries, but it really could have been cut down to an hour TV show. Didn't really need to be a movie.disagree. do u usually enjoy documentaries? This movie was a bore. Finally saw Johnny Dangerously..... very good movie.......
hey Smoovy, it's funny that you just posted. I was just going to write about how I started watching Samurai Champaloo (I'm a fan of Cowboy Bebop) this w/e and I noticed your profile pic. I'm only on disc 2, but so far it's a fun show. The beginning credits are pretty sweet. If you liked 'Audition', you might want to check out stuff like "Suicide Club" or other Miike films, like "Ichi the Killer", "Visitor Q" or "Dead or Alive". Of course being a Miike film there will be a few scenes that are not for those that are sensitive to uncomfortable situations.Took a couple FBG recommends, and watched "Audition". Yeah, Samurai Champloo is awesome. My favorite episode is #15 Bogus Booty on Vol. IV. Just wait until you get to that one.hey Smoovy, it's funny that you just posted. I also started watching uh...Veronica Mars. Yeah, someone recommended it to me and I felt like I needed a change of pace from all the other stuff that I've watched. It's interesting and actually not that bad, but for now I feel like it's not my kind of show, go figure.

I'm guessing it's this chick. Don't really remember the names, though. In Crash, what's the actress' name that plays the part of the convenience store owner. She's stunning.
