Ronnie Brown? (1 Viewer)

Ronnie Brown is the most talented running back in football!

disclaimer: Yes, I am a member of the www.ronniebrown23.com fan club

He looks back but the Dolphins are still far from a good team.I could see him finish with 8 rushing TDs on the season. Yes only 4 more the rest of the season.
 FYI, Ronnie Brown has 5 rushing TDs in the first 3 games, which would mean he could only score 3 TDs in the final 13 games to make you right here. One of the weirdest proclamations I've seen and I was inclined to assume this was some stinky, stinky bait. But I have to ask... care to elaborate beyond "because Miami is bad"? Were they not bad the initial 3 weeks?
Fine then I could see him scoring 9 total TDs on the year. They are not good, I wonder if he will make it 16 games and he is still splitting carries evenly with Ricky.
Thanks. Getting that sort of in depth analysis helps put an opinion in perspective. I'd summarize this as unfounded fear and bad use of stats. When you claim Brown "is still splitting carries evenly" you come off as a box-score FFer who is oblivious to the fact 12 of Williams' 16 carries came in the 2nd half, 8 of them in the 4th quarter after the game was 35-13 and completely out of reach. That hardly supports 'even carries.'
Yes, because I am looking to provide you in depth analysis. You asked for reasons, I listed a few.You seem truly hurt that I am suggesting that Ronnie might not have an awesome year. Don't take it personally and try to ease up on the self superior attitude. I have been doing this long enough that I no longer feel the need to provide in depth analysis on issues for which I only have cursory interest. It is not the best use of my time. And if it helps, while I could see Ronnie being average going forward I can also see him having a very nice year. I hope it helps that I clarified that point.
Oh please. You're the ignorant one who commented on even carries as if it was indication of anything. You're welcome for whatever light I was able to shed on the situation for you. Now scurry back to your box scores.

I don't understand your hostility but good luck with all that.

Strength of Schedule analysis for the playoffs is very nice for Ronnie.

Dodds currently has him ranked behind LJ, Edge, T Jones, Mcgahee and Chris Johnson.

Assuming he stays healthy, would he be better to have in the stretch run than those guys?

I've gotta think so... Edge will top out at 6 TD's this year with Hightower stealing the cheapies, Thomas Jones isn't scaring anyone and has limited upside but lots of opportunity, Johnson is a very talented rookie sharing carries with a TD hog, and McGahee seems to have a similar situation to Johnson. I'd rank themLJ, Ronnie, McGahee, Johnson, T. Jones and Edge for the remainder.

I have actually been shopping Ronnie Brown for about two weeks and have come to the conclusion that this guy is still massively under-rated.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Brown post top 10 RB numbers from this point forward. IMO he is a must buy for teams in need of a RB

10 total TDsMiami Dolpins 448 rushing attempts.Ronnie Brown 214 rushing attempts (47.7%)Ricky Williams 160 attempts (35.7%)Looks like I was wrong. Those box scores can be so confusing.ETA: 11 total TDs. I forgot about the passing TD in the Patriots game that spawned this thread. He had 5 TDs after week three I said he would might only have 3-4, my bad.
