Ever want to run with the bulls and participate in a huge tomato royale food fight like they do in Pamplona? Now you can, right here in the US, without going to Spain...we're gonna need some FBGs to sign up for this and post some videos/stories. Ridiculous cornhole potential here.

Run with real bulls!

The Great Bull Run can be summed up in four simple words: Running. With. Real. Bulls. This isnt a charity 5k or a simulated bull run with people dressed in bull costumes chasing you down the street. This is the real deal, modeled after the famous San Fermin festival in Pamplona, Spain, but without all the time and money required for a trip to Europe! With events throughout the United States (and more on the way), you can finally cross this adrenaline-filled experience off your bucket list without breaking the bank. Pretty awesome, no?

Too scared to run with bulls? It's not as dangerous as you think. In fact, there have been only 15 deaths in the Pamplona running of the bulls in the past 102 years! Even so, we've added significantly more safety precautions for The Great Bull Run so that ANYBODY can run and join in the fun! Plus, unlike the running of the bulls in Spain, our bulls aren't killed after the event or otherwise abused in order to make them run. Please read our Frequently Asked Questions for more details.

Grab Life By The Horns!

But theres more to The Great Bull Run than just running with bulls! Join thousands of fellow thrill-seekers in this massive day-long festival featuring bands, games, food, beer and, of course, Tomato Royale, our version of the insanely fun tomato food fight, La Tomatina. After all, surviving an epic run with 1,500-pound bulls is a pretty good reason to celebrate. But dont worry if youve got a lower threshold for excitement; you can leave the running to the adrenaline junkies and opt to be a spectator or join the Tomato Royale fun!

Check website to buy tickets to participate or spectate, but you can also volunteer and participate in the running and tomato fight for free.

From faq: Are the bulls killed or abused?

No! Unlike the running of the bulls in Spain, we dont kill the bulls in a bullfight, nor do we abuse them IN ANY WAY. We dont hit them, shock them or deprive them of food, water, light or sleep. In fact, weve taken numerous measures to ensure our bulls remain safe and healthy at all times. First, we run only on dirt or grass, not through city streets, in order to prevent the slips and falls that often injure bulls in Spain due to their inability to gain traction on pavement. Similarly, our courses dont utilize sharp turns that bulls cant navigate, which in Spain often leads to pileups of bulls and humans. Second, our bulls have been trained to run the course without physical contact and to be accustomed to large crowds of humans, thereby eliminating any stress or fear on their part. Third, we have a veterinarian on site at all times to monitor the health and treatment of the bulls. As soon as the bulls arrive on location, theyre examined to ensure theyre completely healthy. Theyre examined again before and after each individual run throughout the day. Any bull that is deemed unfit to run will be removed from the event and attended to by a veterinarian specializing in large animals. Finally, the bulls are transported in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations governing the distance and time that livestock can travel each day. Following each event, the bulls return to the open-air ranch where theyre tended by veterinarians and professional bull handlers.

Since it is in Florida, I foresee this happening with no problems whatsoever.
The bulls should be ok unless they - wear a hoodie, play loud music or are black in color. Any of that and there will be some Stand Your Ground moments likely.

That's what the bull said

Running with the bulls is on my list of life goals. I'll check out the details, but I'll probably be game. When July rolls around, I'll head to Alameda and run with the bulls. I'm game for implementing shtick, taping it, meeting up with folks, etc.

Nope. Didn't do it in Pamplona. Not gonna do it anywhere else either.

Oh, and the tomato thing is not done in Pamplona. It's in Buñol.
