A WR group on Jennings, Deebo, Pearsall, and Cowing could be a handful in the 2nd half of the season.

We don't know that yet.

Pearsall wowed in camp. Once he gets in game shape, who knows?

Cowing cam stretch the field and has shown he can make contested/circus catches, which is something they haven't had in forever.

I'm not saying it would be a top 10 group, but if we get CMC back, there will be a lot of options for Purdy to throw to when play action is working.

Purdy knows he needs a skilled group around him to succeed. The 49ers could pay him the $1 million he is owed next year and tag him twice for about $48mm per year which comes to $30mm per year over three years. I think he’ll settle for $50mm per year over 4 years. Who will pay him more?

If he hit the market after 2025, the NYJ pop out as a team who would be looking at a QB. Rodgers contract would be done and he'll probably retire, but the Jets probably won't have a high draft pick. Sliding a Purdy in to replace Rodgers might make sense for them.

Also, depending on what they do in the draft this year, the LVR could also be a potential landing spot. They'll have a ton of cap space and they might be crazy enough to throw a boatload to Purdy.

Purdy, Warner, and Bosa can be cornerstones of the next iteration of this team. This isn’t the NBA, they don’t need to tear it down to the studs.

Yeah, I watched the first half without emotion while doing some work in the garage and just periodically checked the score in the second half. It’s a healthier place to be in than how invested I was in last year’s playoff run.

Well I didn’t like either pick, but calling Moody “worthless” is really off base. 13 of 14 on FGs this season before the injury. I guess if you want to blame him for getting hurt, OK, but he’s kicked well this year.
