Yeah people repost my tidbits all the time in the Lions team thread. I let it slide without comment to make folks feel welcome.

Just the next one on the s he file. Dallas was personal, they got pretty petty this week. They’re too locked in to worry about what happened 48 weeks ago.
Campbell said it says something about their maturation that they’re not making it a revenge game. Bigger fish to fry.

Given the absences of McKivitz, Banks, Burford, the only usual starting OL at practice today are C Jake Brendel and RG Dominick Puni.
A chance that the starting OTs on Monday could be Charlie Heck and Austin Pleasants.
Just sit Brock and let Allen run for his life. No need to risk injury to your starting QB with a patchwork OL.

Per Kyle Shanahan, Brock Purdy has a nerve issue in his surgically repaired right elbow.
I love Brock, but the question marks are arising.

Need to wait until the draft, some good options out there, but it’s prob going to take a 2nd rounder this time.
That’s not ideal but at least the timing is good for rest or additional surgery if need be

That’s where I’m kind of torn. He’s earned a payday, but I’m extremely skeptical giving a contract to a guy with 2 surgeries in 2 years on his throwing elbow.
KS needs to be fired for the following reasons
1. standing by moody. every other team has cycled through kickers unit they found one that works. The 49ers keep losing because of this idiot
2. standing by sorenson - enough has been said about this. Last night was just another feather in his patheticness
3. the 49ers have lost this year they have choked away wins - that's on KS 100%
4. allowing the Campbell thing to happen. How does he not realize that guy is a cancer and what does that say about the locker room that it was allowed to fester
5. terrible play calling in key points
6. he provides no inspiration or excitement at an point the way modern coaches do
Purdy should not be signed. Let him play out his last year on his contract. or if you want to sign him - give him 2 years at 40 million. do not lock in the future with this guy. I like him but i also feel pretty confident saying we wouldn't be any worse off if dobbs started all year. Don't turn us into the cardinals or browns. Purdy needs a prove it year.
Lynch is borderline for me. The draft have been awful. He should technically be gone for the Moody and Lance pick.

Hoping these guys can return to form in 2025, when they couldn't win it in 2023, but expecting them to be as good as they were in 2023 in 2025...insanity.

SF ran the ball 4 times in the 2nd half and dropped back to pass over 20 times. That's a 4 to 1 ratio of pass to run. Overall they ran the ball 18 times and dropped back 37 times. Where's the balance?

This shocked me as well, thought for sure they were going to try to eat clock and they just kept chucking it down the field. Maybe he was trying to lower Purdy’s leverage in negotiations. Bizarre..

49ers score 35 points while playing with a makeshift OL. Don't punt the entire game and had Purdy not made 2 really bad throws, probably would have put up 40 plus. But this part of the fan base is still whining. They were passing because it was working. Guerrendo was slightly less than 4 yards a carry, so obviously the running game wasn't overly effective with that OL. The game was interesting and still lost, which is a positive since their draft position is 4 spots better than if they got a meaningless win. Think back to 2016 when their meaningless win in week 17 cost them Myles Garrett.

Agree. Weird season too in addition to the injuries. Pearsall gets shot before the season starts. Ward and Trent Williams both lose children. Greenlaw was a huge loss. Sets the tone for the defense. Hopefully he is the FA priority to make sure he's back.
Would be fun to see the Lions win the Super Bowl. Only game next week that I have an interest in.

I simply do not understand the lack of love and appreciation for Purdy in this thread. You guys should definitely let him walk and try to find a better QB in the draft or free agency. I’m not saying he’s in the top tier of QBs, but I think he could take a team to the SB and win. Looking forward, I wouldn’t say the same of Murray, Prescott, Richardson, Lawrence, Young, Smith, Wilson, Carr, Cousins, etc (leaving rookies out of this).
I'm happy to compare him to anyone outside of the Lamar, Burrow, Mahomes, and Allen tier. He's a really good player.

Most do appreciate him. I think he's a top 10 NFL QB. But I also don't think they should automatically give him the 55-60 million contract this year when he has another year left on his rookie contract. A lot of holes to fill and while it may not be fair to Purdy, he will get his eventually.

Lawrence got 55 a year with 200 million guaranteed. I know he was the #1 overall pick but Purdy has been better, so that's kind of where that 55 million figure is coming from.
