I just cooked up some Saugy hot dogs.  They were pretty good, despite me being out of Celery salt.  Question for the Geek Club, do they have Saugy hot dogs in other parts of the country?  Are these things just R.I. like Del's lemonade, coffee milk, and beautiful wimmins?  Tia.

Saugys are a Rhode Island thing for sure (same with hot wieners, clam cakes and coffee milk) . ETA: and stuffies

Why are Hot Weiners called New York System?

We certainly have the best "clams"

RI style calamari = :moneybag:

I only buy saugy hot dogs, definitely the best IMO.

Of course, nothing beats a NY System hot wiener but that is a whole different animal.

Then wouldn’t it be milk coffee instead of coffee milk?

it sounds sophisticated, will have to look a recipe up online

I could go for four with everything right about now.  I wonder if they are open with the storm...
