Schedule Quirks... (1 Viewer)

I kind of noticed this happening a little bit last year where it seemed that a team would play on a Sunday or Monday night and then again the next week on whichever night it wasn't the previous week.....just curious if there is some reason why the NFL does this....I realize that many of the bigger market/better/popular teams get the majority of the prime time games, but back to back weeks seems a little strange...and I realize some of it may just be how the schedule shakes out, but it also seems like it happens a little too much just to be a coincidence....

tonight...Indy will be completing the SUN-MON combo...

CHI has a run coming up of MON-SUN-International Game-BYE-MON (3 primetime games out of 4 with the 4th being an International Game)...

NYG has a SUN-MON combo

NE has a SUN-MON

ATL has a THU-MON

NYJ has a SUN-THU

PHI has a SUN-MON

PIT has a 4 game stretch where they go SUN-Normal-THU-MON

SEA goes THU-MON

and KC goes MON-SUN

also...does the NFL is still reserve the right to change some of the primetime matchups they have scheduled for later in the season....?...cause I really have very little desire to watch the Manningless Colts 3 more times after tonight.....

Flexible scheduling this year is from Week 10 to Week 15 because most of Week 16's games are on Saturday, with the SNF game on Sunday.

I expect Pittsburgh @ Kansas City in Week 12 and Indianapolis @ New England to get flexed out.

The green bay vs new York giants game is probably going to get moved in my opinion.

Also Oakland vs Green Bay is an option. Id expect one of those.

Not sure about Detroit or Buffalo schedules but either of them may be options at that time as well
