I was trying to not be too hard on him.

My brother just texted me an interesting take on rg3 final injury play....he never made a single attempt at recovering that fumble. Yet walked off the field (and walked around post game, etc). What's up with that??

I wouldn't normally agree with that, but he (according to shanny) is the one who keeps saying not to take him out of game so he can compete. Well, if you're not being taken out on a stretcher them compete, at least TRY to recover that fumble (turn your body on ground, at least look where ball is to see if you can still grab it) so your backup can come in and try to come back.

He sorta gave up, like "well I'm done, so so are we".

I know I'm gonna get flamed for this, but if you watch the reply it looks like he didnt even consider trying to recover that fumble, yet again, a few mins later walks right off field....

Shanny AND rg3 need to realize that while he IS great, they can't win it with just each other. Was like that Fred Taylor fumble where he tore his groin where he just dropped the ball (gave up on play).

Wow...Not sure what to think of this but with the brace on and it twisted like that...Not good or thank god the brace was on and this might have minimized the injury. I hope for RG3 sake it is nothing serious for he's a class act but Shanahan is a tool for risking long term injury, at the end of the day it's the coaches decision even if the player says I'm good to go. Thought I also read on ESPN Dr. Andrews said he never cleared RG3.

I used to have two or three people on ignore. Now I think it's about half the forum. The childish nonsense that passes for humor or bravado or whatever it is supposed to be has just become all that's left here. It's a shame really. Place used to be worth reading. This is where Im at too. I look at each team and think...who is easily going to be punched in the mouth once and give up? Look at what Browner did today to Garcon and crew.
