**Seattle at San Francisco** (-10, 43.5) Sat 4:30 Kickoff Wildcard Game #1 (1 Viewer)

I assume much of the action will be on SEA with +9.5

Feels like a number designed to trap the general public into thinking SEA will keep it close.

OMG, the ol' VEGAS FLY TRAP for the general public! Watch out ya'll!
Every game is a Vegas fly trap. All those hotels didn’t get built on losing bets.
;)

Definitely wasn't a "trap". If they wanted more money on one side, they make that line 10, not 9 1/2 (big 1/2 point, too).

Obviously, the more money on Seattle, would've been the best outcome for them.
You’re responding to a pre-game post, after knowing the game final score. Huh
:o
I was responding to YOUR post declaring it "Feels like a number designed to TRAP THE GENERAL PUBLIC!" Those were your words, not mine.

My reply was nothing more than thinking your logic mad no sense. It was actually amusing, to say the least. And this was BEFORE the game, so don't try and turn it around. My reply thereafter was simply pointing out the flawed "logic".

No offense, but it's pretty easy to re-read, is it not?

No need to try and turn it around, we're all wrong a lot of the time, but at least admit it.

But I was right though.

I said the 9.5 felt like a trap to get people to take SEA + the points but I could see the Niners covering.

Which they did.

Whatever. I’m done with this.

If Vegas was trying to bait players into taking Seattle, 10 points, NOT 9 1/2, would've been the way to do so. Or even better, 10 1/2. 10 is a key number, obviously. You put that line at 10 or higher -- not 9 1/2 -- if you truly are trying to goad the players/public into a certain (Seattle) side.

No idea where you were getting 9 1/2 as "feeling like a number designed as a TRAP."

The “trap” comment was a joke. Let it go - you look ridiculous here.
