Closers are getting awfully high-priced. I'm curious if we drafted now, when they'd go. But I'd guess there's no way Putz gets taken before Victorino.I'd like another closer, but there's no way I'm paying that much. I'm not looking for a blockbuster but more some fine tuning. I'm in good shape at Catcher and SS so I could move Cliff Pennington, Tim Beckham, and even Carlos Ruiz for a vet pitcher. I still have some nice prospects that are starting or getting big playing time on my bench that I could move. I am trying to win now so if you see something that makes sense send an offer.

The league rules this year were incorrectly set so dropped players were immediately becoming free agents. In order to reestablish drops going through a two day waivers process as in previous years, I had to make all free agents subject to one-time waivers.
So for today only, you aren't able to immediately add free agents. After waivers runs at 2AM EDT on Friday, I think all will be right with the world. Free agents will be free and dropped players will be subject to a two day waiver process.
This is what's supposed to happen. If I screw up, I'm sure someone will let me know and we can go back to full FCFS on drops.
