I can't get past his footwork/mechanics and arm strength. I just see Doug Flutie.

Flutie only completed 53% of his passes in college, Manziel completed 69%.

However flawed his mechanics are, he's able to throw the ball accurately.

Very Poor comparison, completely different offenses and eras.

Even judging them by how they performed vs. their peers, Manziel did much better.

Manziel: 2012 - #9 in pass completion percentage (68%)

2013 - #4 in pass completion percentage (69.9%)

Flutie: 1983 - Not ranked in top 20 (51.3 %)

1984 - #17 in pass completion percentage (58.2%)*

*12 QB's completed over 60% of their passes

Just like Manziel. I don't believe anyone who claims to know what he'll be in the NFL. He does enough things well that he could be very successful but also does things that could be a

And then there's the question about his arm.

That question must be: Why does anyone still question his arm?
