I did an odd thing in this draft that I almost never do: drafted and filled all my starting slots.
2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1QB

Sure, I have a bunch of flex spots to fill but they’re, um, flexible, so I feel like i can be very BPA the rest of the way out.

Wasn’t planned this way but they don’t call me “solid and safe” for nothing

Not trying to be a douche with this comment as it's more a compliment about the quality of your postings in the pool, but I'm a little bit underwhelmed by what's unfolded relatively to what I've read from some here. Still early and looking to see some of these strategies play out and be proven wrong.

Yep, QB Run time for sure. Don't have a bad one with 6 for a passing td chaka!

This is literally my first non-super flex league, not taking a QB has been agonizing. I virtually always have two by now and am targeting my third as trade bait.

We'll see how it goes, but IMO (and experience), 6 pt TDs + 12 team leagues + lower bust/injury risk + lowest weekly scoring variance makes elite QBs way more valuable than they are given credit, even in start one formats. That said, you can definitely get one later in drafts - just gets harder and harder as the rounds go by, especially if a run happens while you are sitting at or near an end spot.

Still 4 teams without a QB, and we all know @Chaos34 has 2 WR's lined up.

I could have gone qb there, but they’re all so mid now. Not minshew mid though

My odd round picks have been much easier as a good player has fallen to me each time. My even picks are where I am finding the need to reach to get players I want on my team.

I actually quite like your picks in rounds that contain more than 4 letters.

Means you're due for a good one in round Seven.

I'd talk smack about your team, but I actually like it. Except for Diggs, maybe. He could hit and become a WR1 again in Hou or his pouty personality could rub the new team very wrong. We'll have to see.

Ya I hated that pick and instantly regretted it. He just slipped so far (probably with good reason) and his preseason was pretty promising with his snap counts vs Dell's.

It will be a very solid pick. This is basically a best ball league. You can afford the down weeks.

You know those guys who you hesitate to draft like Gabe Davis because 66% of their production comes in 33% of their games. I think that's mitigated in this format with so many bullets each week. Big difference between 100 +/- 30 points and 130 +/- 30 points.

Of course as @LawFitz has noted, the QB scoring will be a major driver.

I'm not sure these are leagues where everyone will stay together, but I am really enjoying having a big portion of us in the league also chatting in here.

I think next year they should run like 5-10 $100 "shark pool only" leagues... maybe even have a staffer participate in each one. Thoughts @Joe Bryant ?

Or maybe to really get the smack talk going, FBG can secretly pair posters who have each other on ignore, in the same leagues lol.
