I just noticed we have a "reaction score" next to our profile on this site. I also noticed my reaction score is higher then my amount of posts. How many users are like that? I think it means I'm really awesome or something. ESPN wants to do a segment on that. I said okay.

When you posted that, I was still down by 1.5 points with Mayfield playing and Kittle yet to come. I was not going to post anything until I finally, officially went into the lead….then mayfield knocked out for a bit.. then he throws a 2nd INT…
And finally, 2 and a half hours after your post, my team finally made up the 1.5 points to just take the lead.
I guess Mayfield can throw another INT and Kittle can put up a goose egg, so there’s a chance I can still lose….in which case I guess I need to buy some anti-jinx insurance and say “congrats on the unexpected late win”.

Sometimes we don't know who turns out to be pretty until the end of the movie when they take down their pony tail and remove their glasses.

Much appreciated.
In all of my leagues, if I’m eliminated from the playoffs, I do the same. I only make moves later in the week after the contenders have picked thru the waiver wire (e.g. in redraft, to at least field a full lineup so im not giving a free win to a contender. In dynasty, to drop my K and D to pick up upside skill position players for the offseason).

Been a while for me too. I usually just play in our home league and commish, but I disbanded it after last season and was going to retire from fantasy football. Then a long time friend convinced me to join his keeper league... and then I saw this thread and grabbed the last opening, since I'd already "unretired" anyway. Didn't do much prep work and it showed. Thought it would be fun with a couple of homer picks in Stroud and Dell, but it doubly sucked watching them underperform for my favorite team and fantasy team. Guess I'm still learning despite playing since 1994.
I always figured I'd step aside but enter full lineups if I was in this position. Something akin to baseball teams still playing hard if they were playing contenders so the pennant race result would be a true outcome. Since there's only one week to go and you're safely in, I'll just give you the best (lol debatable) lineup I can muster and leave the free agents to you guys. I'd still play the free agent game if I had a chance to knock you out and get someone else in, but you've clinched your spot. I won't cut anyone that could possibly give someone a boost. I'll just be irrelevant like my poorly constructed team deserves. I humbly accept my ***-kicking.
