Did anybody see this past weeks episode with the GoPro guy substituting for Robert? I did not like him at all. And I thought the companies were kind of weak too.
Terrible. He had to work GoPro into every segment. "Your company reminds me a lot of when I started GoPro" and "The scalability issue is something we had to address with GoPro", etc.
Yeah, the companies were very weak, and the people didn't seem all there either. Ended up fast-forwarding through most of the show in 10/12 minutes. My thing is I skip the shark intros, then I skip any pre-made video about the people before they walk in the door. I just keep forwarding until they walk in the door. Then I watch the pitch, and, if it sucks, I fast-forward to the end to see if any shark makes a deal (usually, if I've tuned out of the pitch, the sharks tend to drop out as well). If the pitch kept my interest, I'll watch negotiations until they suck. If there's too much bickering or it's too drawn out or the person is blowing it, I'll again jump to the resolution to see what happens and move on.
Add in skipping most of the "update" segment (I'll only watch the first minute to hear them mention the revenue increase, I don't need to know the rest), and skipping the 100th Episode fodder at the end of last week, and, yeah, record fast time for me to get through an episode
