The problem isnt in the healing process, the problem is in the "hopes" they saddled the injury with.
So if he is at week 6 of an 6-8 week injury and things are NOT going as planned. That is not bad?
Its normal. The injury that is.As far as the Seahawks hopes and plans, I guess it could be bad.
As far as some fantasy teams, it might be bad also.
And very bad if relying on MoMo.
But to say it is "bad bad news" when there is only a week or three remaining and it would fit right into the normal healing cycle of an injury of this type, I dont think any
adjective needs to be added.
I think you using
"NOT going as planned" is a bit unfair when the report said
"the way they had expected".
In one instance they are discussing the past 4-5 weeks of healing not being enough as they had hoped/planned/expected. Much like when they said 2 weeks originally. But you stated it in the present tense, as if there is a complication besides needing the normal time. And Holmgren specifically stated "its going to be another week" as opposed to what Jay Glazer said. Which puts it right on schedule with what the injury typically needs to heal. And recall he was running all of last week - free of pain and swelling.
*I* just dont see anything any worse then when they originally said he had a cracked, non-weight bearing, bone in his foot. I guess its all in how you read the mdical information and the comments associated with it.
