Silicon Valley - New Mike Judge 8-Part HBO Series (5 Viewers)

Erlich, Guilfoyle, and Dinesh are the whole show. Erlich ruled again tonight.
That dude looks SO familiar, but I checked his IMDB page and there's nothing I really remember him from.

Maybe it's just the Seth Rogen vibe I get from him.
He was the death metal bassist/forklift operator in "Extract" and the desk clerk that Jonah Hill tries to buy heroin from in "Get Him to the Greek."

I like that the main character is incapable of doing anything well but programming so he has all these guys around him to make the startup work.

Pretty weak episode this week.
:lmao: I'm sure there's a repeat of "Hello, Larry" airing somewhere for you.
 I think he was spot on, I got no idea where all the man love for this episode is coming from.

Edit to add: I wasn't going to be the first one to say it because I knew the daggers would be coming. ;)
Pretty lame how this site has become a circle jerk only allowing one opinion to be had. I love this show, have recommended it to many of my friends who never heard of it, but this episode was pretty bad if i am being honest. Erlich was great as usual but Dinesh was pretty terrible in his scenes and I for one didn't find his little mishap with that chick funny in the slightest.

I will say, that ending with Erlich and the lighting and him getting pummeled mid-sentence was fantastic.

This is my favorite show right now and I've watched every episode at least twice.

Will probably be watching the new one tonight, can't wait to see what the fuss is about.

I think one of the "Ernest Goes to....." movies is probably on somewhere.
Well at least you're thinking now.

So, you mean you hate how it's similar to a lot of actual start-ups?
I don't hate anything about this show.

EDIT: Oh, I think you thought I was being sarcastic. No, I was responding to people who don't like the main guy. I like him and it works for the show.

Nobody is saying you can't have your own opinion, Nancy.

Yeah the latest episode was just OK. Only a couple of big laughs. Erlich on stage was pretty funny, as is Guilfoyle continuing to have the upper hand

with Dinesh.

Bad compared to what?

No one's saying you can't voice an opinion. But I think a show this good doesn't produce bad episodes.

he's one of those guys that's played supporting parts in a ton of things, and is always funny in them. your standard "hey, it's that guy."

he was also the "phone" in those Motorola lazy phone commercials.

For me it was the cult leader in the League...with his sidekick in the cult being Richard.

I remember him from She's Out of my League...also seen him do standup somewhere, maybe comedy central.
yogi bear... :bag: he was a ranger.

Friend in she's out of my league

That episode was ####ing brilliant from start to finish.

The Human Heater.
My favourite part of the episode was them going through all the different presentations (The human heater, "This product will truly change the world", "revolutionary new...", LoMoSo/SoLoMo), etc...

I like Thomas Middleditch. No he isn't a charismatic, scene stealing lead character, that's the point. I think he does a really good job portraying a somewhat socially akward, very smart but also frequently confused character and this episode was no different.

The Jared angle was very funny as well with him still out of whack from last week's journey, I actually liked the Dinesh/Gilfoyle stuff least of any this week.

pakistani denzel

awesome username

i love this show so hard. The graffiti logo was maybe the funniest thing i've ever seen in a tv show.

I guess it would be funny to have a second season where they get bigtime seed money and really have to grow the business. That said if I'm the main character I'm selling out now.

Great finale.

The entire scene with the mean jerk time just had me absolutely rolling.

As much as I liked these guys, I'd just as soon they end the pied piper story there... it was a great ending.. the guy made it big and is now going to get more money than the 10 mil.

Let's see something new

Watching the pilot last night - very funny. The doctor scene was great. Look fwd to catching up on them all.
