**SNF at SoFi - Eagles at Rams** (+3, 49) 8:20 (1 Viewer)

Rams were 0-8 on 3rd down. That was the Eagles achilles heal last season.
Better CB play helps alot. Fangio is good when he has talent.
Quinyon was a steal in the draft. But the Defense completely changed with Coop in the slot.

I'd say Coop was the real steal.
No doubt. Both of them. You knwo they were thinking anout taking Coop when Quinyon was still there. And the Coop lasting until the 40s? Fughetaboutit

a lot of gms are so dumb

Saquon Barkley has 255 rushing yards tonight. He had 1,137 coming into tonight, which gives him 1,392 on the season. He is on pace for 2,151 yards rushing — which would be an NFL record for rushing yards in a season

I think he will get it, barring the Eagles shutting him down.

Looking ahead they're going to face the bottom 4 rush defenses:

Baltimore: 2nd rush D
Carolina: 32nd rush D
Pittsburgh: 4th rush D
Washington: 30th rush D
Dallas: 31st rush D
New York: 29th rush D

Man. What a fun game to be my first experience at SOFI. Me my wife, her cousin and her fiance (who is from Philly - fam has season tix to all 4 Philly Sports teams).

We were dropped off instead of spending $100 on parking.

The parking lot is just massive. There really isn't much a a tailgating scene. The stadium is definitely the nicest one I've ever been to. Did not feel like an American stadium.

The fans were about 50/50 Eagles and we were in a section next to an ENTIRE section of Eagles fans. It felt like a home game for sure.

We were walking back to our seats when Saquon ripped off his first long one and were firmly planted in our seats when he ripped the 2nd one off. It was just an incredible experience, to be able to attend this game, to see first hand just how great he is, and also I was watching the young CBs and boy are they STICKY.

I never really get into game threads but its always funny reading the entire thing the day after. Its always funny to see the moment in the thread when the people rooting v the Eagles just turn into the Homer Fading Into The Bushes meme haha.

302 total yards. Just insane. I still can't believe it.

Go Birds!

Yeah one of those I’d love to visit. I’m not sure why any player who is a free agent or seeking employment wants to go to one of those two teams where you are essentially playing 17 away games a year

That’s overblown. I live like an hour and a half from SoFi. My brother has been to numerous games and says that’s pretty much a total exaggeration and that it’s louder for the home team, although he does admit the other cities tend to travel to the destination.

eta* And I could give a hoot about defending the fan bases of the Rams or the Chargers

As the game wore on last night I was thinking, “Damn, the Philly fans are indeed louder than LA’s.” Might have to stand corrected here.

Philly fans are mutts: dog loyal and travel well. And they bark a lot.

And I guess some of them eat poop after a SB win.
