So IF you were a betting individual... (1 Viewer)

With two games sitting in that 9 - 9.5 point spread range right now, worth pointing out that 9/9.5 underdogs win outright about 20% of the time. It's a surprise every time it happens, but it happens all the time (relatively).

One useless but fun fact I just saw when looking in my data: since 2000 there have been eight 9/9.5 point underdogs in the playoffs to win outright, and seven of them were in the AFC (the lone NFC game being the Cardinals advancing to the NFCCG with an upset over the Panthers in 2009).

The 49ers are favored by 9.5.

Every 49er win this season was by double digits, except one - in week 2 when Sean McVay kicked a last minute meaningless FG to make it a 7 point win.

In games where they were favored by 9.5 or more, they're 6-1 straight up and 4-3 against the spread.

Sharing a fun flier. Watching local Detroit sports on the news covering the lions they showed Skipper (OL, part of the reporting mess during the Dallas game) making one handed catches in practice. He already has a catch this season as did Decker in the Dallas game. FanDuel has a prop at +3000 for a TD by any OL this weekend. I put a few bucks on the prop and figure I will for the rest of their run.

So who y'all liking in The Championship Round?

Kansas City Chiefs @ Baltimore Ravens -3 1/2 o/u 44 1/2

Detroit Lions @ San Francisco Forty Niners -7 o/u 51

Public is heavily on Detroit.

You keep posting this but every site I look at says it’s slightly more on the 49ers (51% or 52%) ATS while the Moneyline is 57% on the 49ers.

TBC I don’t gamble and my SME on betting is less than zero. Just reposting my Google results.

I would pretty much ignore any of these sites that claim to know how much "public" money is on one side or the other. How would they know? It's not public information. They're just content creators, it's mostly junk data. The sportsbooks themselves sometimes surface this kind of data but it's similarly just for engagement and useless for meaningful analysis.

On to The Big Game!
Niners opened - 2 1/2
Quickly dropped to Niners - 1 1/2
Over/under 47.5
Who you like?

Very little movement since the opening lines came out.
Put a ducat on The Chiefs M/L
Got a few squares going.
Good luck to everyone who put some extra interest on the game.
Hoping for a great game.
How about an overtime!
Or two!

I only bet on Super Bowls. I find the site with the best new comer special. Place my bets. Cash out or lose. This year I won big. At least for me. I went to cash out and I guess the fine print rolls the money over until I meet this roll over goal because I accepted bonus bets? Wtf. I have to literally bet thousands of dollars more to see a penny. Wtf. This is crazy. I guess I'm a full time gambler now? Really? I feel like I was punched in the stomach.

Are you able to stake large totals on big odds on in play stuff? Find a soccer match that's 0-2 or 0-3 to one team and stick it all on them to win.

Nice. Ya it appears I just need to put the money in play. I have over 4000 dollars I need to put in play. That's just a lot of money to gamble for someone that bets just on Super Bowl. Smh

Not trying to attack but that's just not true. My two previous years in sites it wasn't the case. I took bonuses. Then cashed out
