Tim wouldn't leave for 3 months for $600, I don't know who tried negotiating that one. Honestly, he'd prob accept $5-6k, but come back and look to reverse the deal after a week. His real numbers are prob in the $8-10k range to leave for good.

Good morning. Upon serious consideration, I have to turn down your offer, Fish. It's not the amount of money- $1,000 is a lot- its the insult you make by offering it. Leaving under such terms would be to accept your insult and embrace it and I can't do that.

It's the principle of the thing, FantasyCurse! For the rest of my life I'd have to live with the fact that I was so annoying that people actually paid me to leave a discussion forum! What a blow to my self-esteem; no amount of money is worth that. No amount under $5,000, that is.

Also, why would accepting the offer change the equation? You said that it would be a blow to your self-esteem, "to live with the fact that I was so annoying that people actually paid me to leave a discussion forum"; but the basis of the esteem blow (people being so annoyed by you that they're willing to pay to exile you) remains whether or not you accept the offer.

The only thing that is the other posters faults is that they refuse to comprehend what im saying and giving advice that in no way could be helpful or would make things worse.
People are now trying to tell me to feel guilt and remorse for everything in my life thst others did to me.
