I know a lot of you loved Emil and he'd surely be proud here. I hope y'all realize that and I hope y'all give Bob a virtual hug when they get mailed because this probably "hit him" a bit.

Idk if the current generation of FF people feel the same. Idk if magazines are as loved as they were in the days of newspapers delivered to your door. I am so excited! I hope every young person orders one and learns this joy.

I bought one of Cecil's comic books for my son years ago and he wouldn't read it because it has pages. What does that even mean? He read it the other day and now we're looking at ordering a bunch more comic books. I really really hope the next generation learns this joy

For those that may not know, our friend Emil Kadlec for many years published the suite of Pro Forecast magazines. And my long time good friend Bob Harris was Emil's key guy that made the magazines happen. Unfortunately, Email became sick with terminal cancer and died not too long ago. When Emil got sick, he told Bob it would be best for him to find this next spot and Bob joined the Footballguys staff about 18 months ago. He's been fantastic in all sorts of different areas.

And having Bob here was a primary reason I decided to do a print magazine again. This magazine is quite a bit different from lots of what Bob did but it's been amazing for Bob to jump back into creating a magazine and I'm sure it's been an experience for him.

From my perspective, it's been a joy to be part of creating something that's a physical product. But also nerve wracking knowing you don't have a chance to "get it back" once it prints. We've caught 10 things in the last day that we've said, "Can you imagine if we'd printed this?". Sheesh.

Brings me back. I still remember picking up an FBG mag way back in the day. Heading into year 25 of my home keeper league, and some folks still use a mag. I'll gladly buy this one and roll up in August super swagged out. Dripping, as the kids say. Well done, Joe and crew.
 
Received the email. This is cool as heck. That said, it also kinda makes us tacos with the old “they brought a 3 month old magazine to the draft” bit.

But it’s a very cool throwback to my early days of FF & I love the departure from the digital age to a physical thing to hold and read offline. Bravo for a truly excellent idea & execution to all involved.

I was looking at the numerous FF mags in the grocery store the other day, glad FBGs is doing this as a direct order/delivery vs trying to put it out at magazine stands

-There can't be that many copies of this, you would have a pretty unique "Gameday" in hand at your live drafts, maybe don't pass it around until afterwards
I also didn't know there was that much FBG swag

Glad FBG decided to do this, has a little nostalgia as well. Think I might still have a copy of Footballguys earlier magazine editions, one of them featured Saints on the cover if I'm not mistaken
