Steel Panther Game Thread (1 Viewer)

This game is the perfect excuse for the Steelers to bring bell back.

Connor has some mysterious concussion and sent to the locker room after going to the tent and then coming out for a few plays and then sent to the locker room.

Breaking News:

CAR just signed the love zombie from the camera commercial to upgrade their RT position.

Conner’s final run at end of 3rd q, after he came out of tent: he was tackled awkwardly and then got up and seemed to jog off in a weird way.

Then sent to locker room. Wondering if misdiagnosed concussion or something?

Normally I agree but the score is 52-14 here in the 4th quarter.  If there is ever a time to throw in the towel, this is it.  Carolina shouldn't have any starters in at this point either.  Just move onto next week.
maybe. really depends on how Rivera is reading his team right now. Could leave them in there as a punishment, or leave them in there to try and get some momentum out of this mess. Got out of hand really quickly, but let them get a TD or 2 and can at least leave feeling good about something.

or yeah, just throw it in and run the clock the best you can

The Steelers have no control over when Bell comes back, it's completely his choice.
I understand that. But he’s in Pitt and with all the news and easy way for both sides to work him in with a reason to get some playing time if Connor is truly concusses or dinged up.

what does this mean?

I think it’s safe to say, it’s time to pass the sticks...

Posting on social media Thursday night, Le'Veon Bell tweeted "I think it’s safe to say, it’s time to pass the sticks."

Bell finished the tweet with three "smiling face with sunglasses" emojis. For those of you unfamiliar with Madden or PlayStation 2's "Street Hoops" (see "Chappelle's Show"), "pass the sticks" means "your time is up" in video game parlance. Bell will be reporting before Tuesday afternoon's deadline, and he wants the controller back from James Conner. Conner stayed scorching on Thursday evening, decking the Panthers for another 100-plus yard game. If Bell is active for Week 11 against the Jaguars, he will almost certainly be a package player, taking a backseat to his understudy. The saga will be officially ending soon, likely Monday, though Friday is also a possibility. Nov 8 - 10:39 PM

this is literally the dumbest thing i have seen running McCafrey into the line at this point in the game. Put in Anderson if you are just running clock

Cool.

Are there any good teams in the NFC besides New Orleans and the Rams?
last year's Super Bowl winner just picked up Golden Tate. Half the team still injured, but pretty sure they could handle majority of the AFC if they need too

Is there anybody in the AFC beside KC and New England?

I think Rotoworld got this bass ackwards.

Yep.

McCaffrey still in the game.

These dumb #### coaches will never learn.  Its going to take a high profile to literally get crippled in a meaningless situation, for them to learn their lesson.

I take that back, they still won't learn.

Pittsburgh, San Diego. We'll see on Cincy and Houston. I'd put everyone in the NFC outside of the Rams and Saints in the we'll see category.

I remember when the Eagles use to be good ... but that was a long long time ago.
Patriots, Steelers, Chiefs and Chargers are the cream of the crop in the AFC.  The Rams and Saints in the NFC but I suspect we'll be adding the vikings and Eagles into that tier by year end.
