A per Rotoworld:

Steven Jackson has been nursing a "slight groin pull" in addition to a twisted ankle during offseason workouts.

The groin is a concern. Jackson missed four games with a 40% tear of his groin in 2007. He was not at practice on Thursday. The St. Louis media isn't making a big deal of it, but they haven't done much reporting recently period.

Not too sure what to make of it since it's only June, but this could be a concern for owners and potential drafts.

Are groin issues a recurring injury ala turf toe and hammys or is this just an anomoly?

The way he runs (basically hurdling his line on half his runs—which most of the time is all he can do to get positive yardage) my money is one "recurring problem".

Given that he had 1000 yards in the 8 games he played after he came back from the injury, i'm gonna say it wasnt really bothering him then and this is indeed a minor groin pull that guys get all the time.

It was a partial tear last year...40%, I believe...glad I picked up Antonio Pittman in one of my leagues as insurance.

Well he is in a contract year, so he may not be willing to sit out and really allow it to heal correctly. Just surprised that this hasn't been talked about more. Instead the Ryan Grant tender arguement gets more attention that the supposed #2 RB in the rankings dealing with a possible ankle and groin problem AGAIN?!?!?!

Pittman and Leonard should be handcuffed to this guys dreadlocks if this injury shows any signs of lingering into the season.

When a player passes a certain carry threshold his subsequent seasons are rarely close to his time of dominance.
