Seriously, WTH is going on? Someone said it earlier, either pump and (eventual) dump, or someone is in on good news and it's spreading. This is fun, but stressful at the same time. I love seeing what my little investment has turned in to, but scared to watch it go the other way. What's the play? Put in a sell at $8 to secure earnings and dive back in if it goes below? How do you all protect this profit?no sellers

I was worried about that when Bloomberg posted this article last week:I can't tell if the same thing is happening to other OTC stocks in the biotech area. Seems like it was last week. Not sure if it's just someone placing a lot of very large bets and we're just one of a dozen that might be "the one".
But after checking back on those stocks today, CYDY is a standout.Drug and vaccine makers working on Covid-19 medicines rallied after President Donald Trump hinted at a “big surprise” coming soon, while day traders continued to favor a handful of smaller developers.
Vaxart Inc., which also said it made a deal to scale up production of its experimental vaccine, was among the standouts, gaining as much as 57% on Thursday. Lesser-known drug developers working on medicines for Covid-19, like microcap NanoViricides Inc., jumped as much as 25%, while CytoDyn Inc. surged 33%.
Sorrento Therapeutics Inc. climbed 30% before paring its gain. The stock shot up and appeared on investor radars in May after the chief executive and founder touted early data on Fox News.
Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm happy to ride the wave here. Just wasn't expecting it to happen this fast.I'll take some of that CYDY off your hands. My Roth IRA is 75% in CYDY (and I'm glad it is). Of course, that isn't my "entire" investment portfolio though.

TD Ameritrade shows mine at 1,982.30% (with the comma)There's a column on my E-trade portfolio that says "Total Gain %". Now I'm irrationally curious to find out if they put a comma in the digits when it gets over 1,000%. Almost there![]()
Mine was 10% with an exception of 15% for Amazon. Now I'm sitting with 25% in cydy and really don't know what to do about it.Pretty soon I'm going to be violating my rule of no more than 5% of the portfolio in any one company.

You and me both. Talk about a day of extremes. I sold BLMN on Friday for the vomit inducing move of the day, yet I bought CYDY on Thursday and got in for the huge run today.Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm happy to ride the wave here. Just wasn't expecting it to happen this fast.
Of course, I wish I had put more in.

My Roth is about 25% CYDY now too, but trimming hasn't crossed my mind yet. I think it's the Motley Fool guys who like to say "let your winners win." I plan on doing just that.Mine was 10% with an exception of 15% for Amazon. Now I'm sitting with 25% in cydy and really don't know what to do about it.

If you have a cost basis on one set at $0.30 you are getting some exponential gain those of us late to the party can only dream of. I dare say you'll have trouble ever repeating that. We are now at 29x on that in way under a year.Such mixed emotions on this ride...thrilled about what is happening, yet I’ve got a real issue with FOMO in general and not buying more initially has been weighing on me. My initial purchase was at around $0.30 and I bought more today at $8, but if it goes to $50....![]()
If it goes up $1.84 again, it passes the onion in price.CYDY up 27% today. What do we expect tomorrow? The freight train has to slow down soon, right?
Yep, don’t get me wrong I’m super grateful and thrilled, but I’m the type that will save $1,000 on a purchase and worry for a week that I could have saved $1100.If you have a cost basis on one set at $0.30 you are getting some exponential gain those of us late to the party can only dream of. Was Mansion the free $1000 HOF game bet?CYDY
Mansion
Anything else compare? I feel lucky to have been a part of both (started the Mansion thing and at least have some decent coattails on CYDY).

Steelers/Dolphins if I remember right? I didn't get my money in on time in that deal. That said, there used to be an old bonus thread here when online casinos were going strong back in 2005ish. I made bank on those things. Was Mansion the free $1000 HOF game bet?

Thought it was the squeelers, but wasn't sure.Steelers/Dolphins if I remember right? I didn't get my money in on time in that deal. That said, there used to be an old bonus thread here when online casinos were going strong back in 2005ish. I made bank on those things.
Mansion was a gain of $1000 on zero dollar investment. Infinite rate of return and it only took a week. Hard to beat you say? How about my humble example of buying CYDY: Investment of $2700, eight months later total profit nearing $70,000. Almost a thirty bagger. This makes Mansion look like a $25 match play bet at the Claridge.CYDY

That was me squealing from the stands when Joey Porter return a late interception for a touchdown so that the Steelers covered the spread and locked in our gain.Thought it was the squeelers, but wasn't sure.
I don't see that, Bid/Ask 8.80/8.83I know you all said OTC after hour trades are kinda worthless, but CYDY is down 15%. No need to worry?

I'm trying to not think about if I had just put my faith in CYDY even after y'all had been in it for a while, we wouldn't be renting someone else's lake house next month.Yep, don’t get me wrong I’m super grateful and thrilled, but I’m the type that will save $1,000 on a purchase and worry for a week that I could have saved $1100.![]()
If I take my winnings from Mansion and track it through the gains in my gambling account up to 2020 and then including CYDY partial purchase my Mansion winnings are worth 14k in CYDY dollars.Mansion was a gain of $1000 on zero dollar investment.
