Back all in SI. Lost a bit on the sell/buy over the last couple days, but slept better over the weekend. Its off like a rocketship this morning.

I don't get Fidelity...On one hand they say I have $2500 in intraday trading power and the other they send me an e-mail with a margin call for $350

All of my sweep or cash balances for my individual/Roth/other accounts on fidelity are all screwed up.  It seems to overstate what’s really available to buy with

I cashed out the cost basis of all of my recent big flyers: ROKU, PLTR, SNOW, U, TWLO and a few others.  Up so much on many of these I'm getting nervous the run is going to end.  Will hold the shares equivalent to the profit I made and will try and sit on the cash for a bit.

What sucks is that in my IRA the default is a margin buy which I have to switch to cash.  Regardless of what I designate, the first traded funds of the day always come from the intraday available and I have no control over that.

Sucks. Its pretty confusing. I'm on my second good faith violation in the penalty box.

Have you opened up a "limit margin" status?  That took care of my good faith violations.  I do get these "margin calls" but I don't think they are real.  Usually just sell off the amount they are asking for.

If some quant focused investment bank wants to offer me a job for my VIX = 20 = Sell all stonks you can send me a PM here.

CYDY is up 140% since Dec 3rd.  HGEN is up 105% in a week.  RVVTF's stock price is up about 300% since Nov 10th.  But RLFTF's stock price has been flat.  Why?

Good question. That's the one I had hope in but my spidey senses are tingling a bit. With all this other stuff rising, maybe it's the one that gets left behind.

FUBO up 17% today.

61% since I bought it on 12/17/20.
Hate when I hesitate on those.

Still love days like today. Haven’t really trimmed anything and I’m green still. Any time you are beating the market by more than 1.5% and green is a fun day. Sometimes more fun than a huge day where everything went up the same. Makes me feel good about the portfolio. May look around to finish building some new positions.

Not touching my TWLO and haven’t trimmed any ROKU yet, but don’t blame you on the others. They certainly aren’t cheap. I’m fairly certain I’ll never own SNOW. I’m definitely nervous but still have enough cash (and non-merged SPACs) to jump all in if we get a March again.

Please explain this to me like my investing skills parallel that of a five year old (not too far off).
VIX is a measure of volatility.  The lower the VIX (INDEXCBOE: VIX) gets the tighter the spreads are on option ladders on what I believe is SNP500 based, but could be broader.

20 seems to be the magic number that when trading range approaches/crosses 20 a period of volatility starts, and stonks pull way back.  Dec. 8th was more or less that point (depending on which index you track) it was sell signaling.

LAZR taking off again too.
Hah, love the $37 target. I honestly wonder sometimes where these analysts get their estimates from. Liked LAZR and it was a great ride but there are multiple competitors and other tech available. $11B market cap is a lot and assumes it’s the market leader and I don’t think people realize that it’s really limited to highway driving not fully autonomous. Anyway, was a real nice ride.

Just realized IPOB us done now and OPEN doing well. Nice.

I tried to wait it out too.  Having a stellar day.  Sold ABNB at the bottom and watched it bounce 6% back, held off on CSPR, held off in NNDM, bought JMIA at the peak.  🙄
CRSP has been awesome lately. Almost quadrupled from my March buy. Wish I bought a full share, would be a top 5 holding instead of top 10ish. Not planning to trim any yet either.

Coming from Deutsche Bank, I figured it's really some oligarch or shady action going on.  ;)

Bought some PIC Friday. Then Kramer pumped the #### out of it Friday afternoon. Up 25% today. Looks like a very solid play.

Took some profits from UVXY, selling half at 12.57.

Will probably look to get back in if it drops below 12.20. I expect an afternoon surge, but could be late.

Got my Amazon back that I sold Friday at $3185 for $3170.  Was concerned that Bezos might do some work over the weekend, but alas that was silly on my part.
