For those of you that jumped on the TQQQ or SOXL train a few weeks ago, we are up 20-40%.   Is this a sell point for you all or do you just hold?  Thinking of unloading half to all of SOXL while letting TQQQ run a bit longer.

Big banks reporting week.  Anyone buying or shorting into it?

I'm holding a little FAS but no individual bank stocks.  Was thinking of WFC wondering if it can go any lower (still trending near March lows), but there P/E is like 2-3x JPM, BAC, C, USB.

I still own a very small amount of JPM.  Having problems finding stocks I like at these values.

All you penny stock chasers - got an alert from an online acquaintance on CBBT - scooped up a small amount at .007 - he thinks it can run well into the dimes - don't know much about it but he has a great track record on these so if you want to throw some play money into it, go for it. Something about a letter of intent to buy another company (yes, I know that's usually fake news or misleading) and something about an ex Apple executive investing through notes convertible at .10  -  sure, he could be a bad apple  :)
Your penny stock is over a penny.  Currently at 0.0115.

I hit my first 100$ this month from stocks 😎

up 8.01%
Keep building. I haven’t been buying stocks for a long time but AMZN is up for me in the 5 figures today. Since 9/14, my portfolio is up over 20%. Been crazy. Starting to get real tempting to offload some. A bit worried about Biden’s tax plan, especially capital gains. I have a bunch becoming long term gains on Friday and in December. I hate paying taxes on them but I don’t want to owe 10-20% more just by waiting too long.

Loaded up on Amazon with Prime Day approaching.  Trying to decide when to offload some.  Does anyone have any Prime Day history on the stock price?

Upate on MIL account....

Fee Based Fancy Smart Financial Advisor Lady: -5% over 5 years

Hah, she literally had to work hard to get such bad returns. 99 out of 100 monkeys with a dart do better. The old lady putting money in her bed did better and anyone who forgot about that money they left in a money market fund did better.

I bet you wish you kept that AMZN purchase in margin and sold today, huh?

Go to the historical data on something like Yahoo Finance and look up the last couple. Last year might be the best example. Also, I think the bigger event might be the earnings report at the end of October. Not sure if you’ll hear any real details about Prime Day results before that. Can’t recall how quick they put that out. I know I’ve been spending way more with them this year.

Yeah...would have been a $40,000 profit.

Will do.  I was thinking one of you Amazon whores in here would remember it off the top of your head like your first orgasm.

NET having quite the day.  Jumped in that one after having missed the FSLY train.
Nice day. Feeling like this could be another frothy sign. I know it’s good to announce new products or in this case maybe a better wrapper around the existing but 24% for a new feature release? That’s excessive. We aren’t talking about buying a company with a product that enhances your own just a new release. Reminds me of Game Stop getting a 25% bump because they bought Microsoft products. Feels like press releases get rewarded for things that are normal business operations not great earnings or an acquisition. Just thinking out loud, but getting a bit more worried now.

I’m with you, and quite honestly anytime ANYTHING pops 20% in one day I consider selling.  Not sure which direction I’ll head in this one

I got out when it hit 140, so at 155, it'd be hard for to say I wouldn't be taking some profits.

How do we feel about NNOX at a $35 entry?
Owning it at any price is a terrifying, thrilling ride that causes heart palpitations.

Honestly, if you're looking to just make a trade, I have no advice. If you're in it for the long haul, knowing that this might be an all or nothing thing, now's as good a time as ever. Doesn't mean it won't drop in the short term. 1st of 2 FDA decisions could happen any day, plus they have a demonstration day in early December where they will give a live demonstration. It could work and wow people or it could be like Elon Musk shattering his shatterproof windows on stage.

I don’t mind big pops. I’ve seen them a bunch but if it’s because a company announces a huge beat or getting acquired or making a great acquisition or a real partnership* then I get it. 20% for the next release of your product is ridiculous. Maybe a few percent for a big release but that 20% has literally already handed them the potential revenue increase before they’ve sold it. Feels like FOMO/instant gratification world has rolled into investments and investors don’t realize a target is what analysts think could happen if things go well not what the price should be today.

*GameStop and Microsoft is a joke, it’s like I partner with Costco because I’m a member and shop there.

Convinced me. In at 35.10.

RLFTF is going to be up today:

NeuroRx and Relief announce topline efficacy data from patients treated with RLF-100™ (aviptadil) under the U.S. FDA Expanded Access Protocol authorization for respiratory failure related to critical COVID-19

Anyone in NRGU and not have their reverse split finalized yet?  I use TD.  All my shares have moved under a numerical ticker like its been delisted.  Didn't think this would take more than a day to do.

Bank of Montreal is just being slow.
