Do I wish I hadn't sold half my ETHE the last time it went over $40? Yes. Is hindsight always 20/20? Also yes. The fact that the position is not a large as I would like is nicely offset by being a complete freeroll. If it gets to $100, I might start trading around a core position.

SOFI doing a warrant redemption if anyone here is holding them. Something to watch for the stock
Exercised mine for shares this morning.  Had to throw .40 into the pot, but get shares worth double the warrants, so all is well here.

Thanks for the heads up!   :hifive:

In other news my poker account, which became a stock account after UIGEA in 2008 with 30k in it has now officially hit Lambo territory.  And, not only that, but is at 2.5x from the depths of March last year.  Amazing run, just amazing.

-------

And, as been the case for the last bit - IONQ, SNII, MTTR 🚀

I hold SI, ETHE, and a little BITO in my main account.

I've taken some off the top of both SI and ETHE

Plan on holding on to them for a long time.

I also cut my Grayscale crypto positions on 11/4.... Dropped about 40-50% of  ETHE (45.27) and GBTC (49.82), and GDLC (31.16). I won't be cutting any further and will DCA back in any notable dip.

Dropped all my remaining EBS (small position) a little too late on 11/5 (36.42) but thankfully got out then. Small victories.

Nice. My biggest account (IRA) that hasn’t had any inflows/outflows is up 3.36x from mid-March. Unfortunately, can’t do that with 2nd largest as I moved accounts late last year and well, pay for stuff like college, hold cash and add funds. I know it’s more than double but no clue the exact numbers.

Honestly, I’m amazed at the runs our 401ks have made in 2020/2021. My wife and I max our accounts and have just been able to use the old people additional limits. It’s nice to see the market returns with the contributions and matching. The matching and returns have been as much as the maxed contributions the past two years.

Something tells me this ride may not continue as hot, but I still look forward to continuing to add as much as possible before turning in my work keys.

My only red today is TQQQ but since I'm up 60% since I started up another position in it I suppose I can tolerate giving up a half point today.  But, I do want to see a new Daq record soon.

Hope all you guys who bought XLNX after our discussions are enjoying the ride. I could swear that when the acquisition was announced XLNX was in the $120s and based on the AMD price now, it’s value when the transaction hits is $251. I remember the Motley Fool recommendation was to hold, likely to make sure you get the premium but that was 10-20%. A 100% premium holding through acquisition is just crazy.

I'm on it like a pot of neckbones

AMD is still outpacing it daily though.  Something has to give here, hope it's not on AMD side

It’s been pretty consistent in the 15-20% range. It stretches when AMD goes on a run and then people realize and XLNX catches up. It’s going to be a nice day when it’s official because XLNX will catch up instantly.

And that's it for me with the stupid Oatly stock.  What a POS that thing has been.  Long term, I think alt-milks will be a winner (they are a winner) but there's too much competition and I just don't see a pathway for profitability any time soon.  Can always revisit, but in my tax account, I'll take the tax asset generated by this thing sucking the joy out of the fun every other stock is having.

Starting up a position in JETS.  Haven't been in this for a while.  Between the PFE news, some international travel bans expiring, free money burning holes in pockets...
Nice to hear that some of the talking heads on CNBC decided to tail me on Friday and start up a position in JETS.    :coffee:

;)

QS and BLDP having a day.

I am long.......these are the only two truly shoot for the moon stocks I own.

BLDP is a free roll and we bought more back in the 15’s

QS we are green by about 28% now.

Stay patient.

Oat milk will exist but it's gonna need to be as a product of a conglomerate, not on its own. Same realization will be had when people realize BYND is never gonna make money by itself, either. Alternative proteins will exist, but it needs to be Impossible Burgers, brought to you by Clorox.

I know almost nothing about farm subsidies, but I don't think Oatly is getting the same benefits the dairy industry does with regards to them.  But again, what I know about subsidies and farming could fit inside of a thimble.

Beam Global (BEEM) benefiting greatly today.  Jumped back in at $29 a month or so ago and added more today.  Solar powered charging stations starting to be in the right place at the right time.

It's certainly no money printing machine like AAPL, MSFT or AMC.

NKE killing me today.  I have to be the only guy in the red in here.  This is brutal.
Seems to me that Nike, Under Armor and Adidas stocks rotate.  If you are going to be in this space probably better to own all three. I know Nike is getting crushed because they can't get product to the US.  I was looking for a new pair of sneakers on Amazon a few weeks ago and not nearly the selection there used to be.

Have you looked at $STEM? AI (buzzword alert) driven clean energy storage. I have a tiny bit but add a little here and there. What I like is they are a platform (they sell software with hardware and the software is what I really like) and sell their stuff to other companies. Doesn't matter if the other companies use STEM hardware, either - the (ATHENA) platform maximizes performance of whatever they have. Speculative but I figured it was worth a dart throw.

They report tomorrow. I want to get through a few of these earnings before I fully commit.

I only own NKE

UA??? Dude that is like riding Space Mountain in Disney World. No thanks!!!

NKE's pivot to DTC has them best positioned for the future. This is a buying opportunity

What size are you?   I might be able to help.  We could walk to the Nike campus from my house in about 15 minutes as long as you don't stop and "find" a bicycle along the way.

I have not looked at this one, but I am intrigued.  Thanks!

Good to see them running.  Almost back to even on QS, still -12% in BLDP.  But these are in the Roth account and I'm still on the right side of 50 (barely) so plenty of time to let them roll.

Maybe the way I’ll play this is through $GENI, which provides data and other tools to multiple customers, instead of one of the commoditized online brokers. Still need to research them more, though.

Anyway, here’s who is going live here in AZ on 9/9 or soon after, with DFS starting tomorrow.

All have welcome offers of some kind, of course. I’m sure I’ll go through all of them at one point or another like many others. Again, I think you can make short-term money on DKNG or PENN but I’m not sure about 3 or 5 years from now. Just look at who’s launching just in this state.

-BetMGM

-Draftkings

-Fanduel

-Caesers

-Wynnbet

-Unibet

-Pointsbet

-Betrivers AZ

-Twinspires

-FoxBet

-Bet365

-Golden Nugget (DKNG bought them though, right?)

-Bally Bet

-theScore Bet

-Barstool

-Betfred Arizona

That’s insane. Also, hooray!
New York just approved the following:

FanDuel
Bally Bet
BetMGM
DraftKings
Rush Street Interactive (BetRivers/PlaySugarHouse parent)
Caesars
WynnBet
Resorts World
PointsBet

“Commodity.”

Grabbed BLDP @ 22 back in Jan.

DCA'd down at 16 in May and 14.94 in May again.

Almost in the black, and not sweating it. I'm long. Thanks for the updates!
