**Streaming Defense 2015** Week 15 - Playoffs: No time to get cute (1 Viewer)

I have tenn all over the place this week but it's more best of the rest than actual confidence in them.

Initial look at wk3 saw Giants at home vs wash for an ugly Thursday game. Is nyg defense too bad to consider or they ok?

Titans D seems like fools gold this week.
I try to avoid starting questionable defenses on the road.
Up against probably the worst offensive team in Football. With that bum at QB. I'm all in on the Titans this week.It doesn't matter if a bum QB is playing on the road or at home,he will still turn the ball over and make mistakes!
I get the thought process and can't argue much with it. I just prefer a home D.

Nabbed the Bills off the wire last night. Not a great match up this week but I shouldn't have to worry about streaming much anymore.

I picked up Baltimore and despite some injuries I think the are a good play especially if Carr doesn't play.
Starting Baltimore on the road against Oakland (who has QB issues) and even without Suggs.
Same. I expect 1-2 TDs from this D this week.
Hear it is only week two and I'm streaming Defenses! I guess unless you nabbed Buffalo or St. Louis or a host of a few others...you're streaming.

Arizona is on the wire. I think I should drop NO for them right? I've been burned too many times by the Bad Defense, Great Matchup formula.

Yea I'd probably do that. Chicago isn't an offensive juggernaut. Though AZ has some tough matchups ahead after SF.

Not really streaming but St Louis is getting close to a start every week defense. Aaron Donald is an elite player. Look for them to embarrass the Skins this week.

Atlanta looked good in the opener. Not sure what to make of that yet but they could be good and nobody knows yet.

:oldunsure: Grabbed Broncos in 2nd to last round before Kicker.

  • Denver will be shifting to a 3-4 defense in 2015.
  • IMO they have the best pass rush duo in the league in outside linebackers Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware, I'm fully expecting them to lead the league in total sacks. And with sacks, you get turnovers. They finished in the top 10 in sacks and interceptions last year.
  • Not much in kick/punt TD returns though.
  • 3 double-digit scoring weeks in the final 5 games.
  • Wade Phillips was hired to lead the defense.
  • The Broncos also have last year’s first-rounder, Bradley Roby, at corner and this year’s first round pick, Shane Ray, at outside linebacker.
  • The key will be whether or not they can prevent opponents from scoring. They don’t face an elite offense until the Packers and Colts in Weeks 8 and 9, so the schedule is favorable.
May pick up streamers after their Bye, but locked and loaded for next few :pickle:

yea Im rolling with the Titans this week against Manziel.. I hope he throws 2 pick sixes.

For those in best ball, how about the 2 Ds in the rookie QB matchup?
For those with slim pickens this week, I just noticed this blurb:

USA Today: Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston faces a brutal history when he faces Tennessee Titans assistant head coach/defense **** LeBeau in Week 1. Since 1995, rookie quarterbacks are 3-26 with 24 touchdowns and 37 interceptions against his defenses.
Hmmm.

I don't often go back through threads, but I did just note this nugget.

A pretty good forecast indeed.

Not sure how I would like the TEN defense the rest of the way, but here is a case where it worked out just as history said it would, short term anyway.

TZM

This may seem silly but I just noticed NE is sitting on both of my waivers. They play JAC at home next week, they might be worth the preemptive pick-up if you have room.

Have both Tenn and Balt on WW this morning. Who is the stronger play? I'm leaning towards Tenn bc of LeBleau and Manziel starting.

In one of my leagues, sticking w/ Panthers even though Luke Kuechly is out. I just cannot trust the bad defenses like the Saints.

So what are the thoughts on Washington? They've posted back-to-back decent weeks. I haven't been able to see either of the games.
