When Bob's Burger first came out, I watched the first few episodes and hated it for some reason, I can't remember.

But I tried watching it again last week and love it. Pleasant surprise to hear Kevin Kline.

My favorite part so far is when Gene wins the mascot race and is being interviewed by Kevin Kline. He asks Gene where the burgers are from and Gene hems and haws. And you hear Bob is the background screaming, "IT'S BOBS BURGER! YOU WORK THERE EVERYDAY!!"

I love that episode.

I like watching with my son. It's a suprisingly raunchy show, though.

Watched Donnie Darko in full finally. Always caught pieces of it and thought it was not that good. Finally saw the whole thing and it is great.

Also watched Big trouble in Little China. Classic 80's cinema there but I think I lose some of the magic watching it now. I feel like if I saw that when I was 10, it would have been incredible. Now its just ok.

Wife and I started The Returned this weekend. French with subtitles. People who are known to be long dead start showing up alive (actually alive, not zombies) in a small French town. Only a couple of episodes in, but so far it is creepy and really, really good.

End of Watch - Raw, edge of seat police drama that follows two partners in LA.

I just watched this last night. I really liked it. When it started and I realized how the camera shots were going to be, I thought "Oh no, not gonna enjoy this". I was wrong. Great acting too.

Was it just me, or did they totally ditch the found footage stuff towards the end of the movie and hope no one would notice?

Yup. It picks and chooses when to use it. Bugged me a little.

It actually ruined the movie for me. It's a pet peeve of mine that if you are going to attempt that you have to pay attention to details and stay consistent.

Bob's Burgers has been the highlight of Fox's animation lineup for a couple years now IMO. It's kind of funny how the long term mainstays (Family Guy, Simpsons) are barely watchable, while American Dad and Bob's Burgers, after slow-ish starts, are great.

Just started watching The League last night. Holy crap its funny.

One of the first couple of episodes and they are in a bar and dude brings the bald guy a beer. The bald guy, "Um, I ordered a Reisling." Other dude, "Yeah, I know, but we are in public."

I don't get it. It's the dog days of summer TV so I'll try watching this since nothing else is on.

I wasn't a fan of this show for the first couple seasons but I kept plugging away at it when I didn't have much else to watch. For some reason it finally clicked with me (or got better) in the most recent 2 seasons and I absolutely love it.

I started watching this a few nights ago... I'm already on season 4 love it.

Yeah, I love Archer as well, I'd probably agree the latest season of Bob's Burgers is better than the latest season of Archer.

I really have no desire to watch the original. I don't doubt it's better, but I read where the remake is basically the same plot and everything. While I enjoyed the remake for what it was, I have no desire to watch the movie (original) again.

I'm assuming you mean Sympathy for Lady Vengeance and Mr Vengeance? They're okay. Not nearly as good as Oldboy.

Yeah. But subtitles have never bothered me. I know it does some people.

They don't bother me much either, but they bother me enough to not re-watch the movie, even if some things are different.

I've seen both the original series and the first remake and liked them both.. It's hard to compare them right now as you really only can compare parts 1 since the remakes of 2 and 3 have never come about.
