TheHope the other seasons are as good.
Just stop now and save yourself frustration and time wasted. Only got worse and worse and worse the longer it went on.
dunno... snogger continued to enjoy TWD after most of us begged out iirc, so he might like the subsequent seasons.
:bag: Still watching Daryl goes to Paris.. And it is worth the time IMO.

Tried watching Maggie and Negan take on Manhattan, but it is NOT worth the time.

yes, there was a downhill trajectory but I still don't feel like they were that bad.
Agreed. My wife and I watched them all. I was expecting it to get worse because of what I read here but it was fine
I guess I should have said it gets really, really weird and wasn't anything like the first season. it just wasn't worth watching.

Amazon Prime just added an oldie but a goodie "Remember" with Christopher Plummer, Martin Landau, Jurgen Prochnow and host of other familiar faces.

As a favor to his fellow Auschwitz survivor friend in a nursing home, an elderly man with dementia goes out hunting and killing the Nazi's responsible killing his (the friends) family.

Plummer aint John Wick, and the movie stays grounded to what a geezer can realistically do. Nice payoff at the end.
I remember liking this more than I expected.

agree with most that The Studio isn't very good. The Ron Howard episode was the exception though. I laughed a LOT during that one.
Obviously hit or miss...but I felt it's hit it's mark more than it's missed.

I thought the Olivia Wilde, Greta Gerwig & Golden Globe episodes were high level.

Sirens on Netflix was also very good.

The series finale of The Handmaid's Tale aired on Tuesday on Hulu. My wife and I stuck with it moreso to just see how it concluded rather than actually enjoying the show in and of itself. This final season had some decent plot points and I didn't mind the finale, but honestly I'm glad it's over. The fact that no one even mentioned it here clearly shows that it ran a season or three too long. :-)

Not enough talk of The Rehearsal in here. I wouldn't even know how to describe it to someone. I'm not really sure if any of it was real.

I watched some of Nathan For You and liked him in The Curse on Showtime...but this one looked a little too "serious". Is it good?

If you like his style you will like it. It is still pretty funny, especially the first 3 or so episodes.

Final 2 episode of Earnhardt documentary are great. Remember watching everything when it was live. Can't believe that is almost 25 years ago

Lucked into a couple of bangers

Collide - (Amazon Prime) Heist/Chase/Romance/Action/Kitchen Sink. Starring Nicholas Hoult, Felicity Jones, Anthony Hopkins, Ben Kingsley, and the Autobahn. Excellent car chases and gunplay. Nice payoff at the end.
NOTE: do not confuse it with the Ryan Phillipe movie (although that has Kat Graham in it, so it wouldn't be a total loss).

DEPT. Q - (Netflix) A detective coming off of a bad case is put in charge of the cold case files. Matthew Goode (Downton Abbey) is the lead and he gets a couple of misfits assigned to his squad. Think about all the ways that could go bad...but it hasn't. I'm through episode 3 and so far, so good.

Okay I finally started Mobland and I'm just 2 episodes in. I can't put my finger on it. I'll finish it. I think I like it. It has some good stuff in it, but other times it just seems silly. Brosnan is just a horrible horrible character to me. He actually almost ruins it entirely. The character himself is dumb and the casting was a swing and miss for me. Hardy in this role is wonderful and he just plays these guys well. Paddy casted nicely. Guy playing Richie Stevenson was great. I kept thinking he sounds like that big glasses guy from Snatch. Overall is just a one time watch meh for me so far. It ain't no Peaky Fricking Blinders thats for sure.

Came here to post this one. Good

You're in for a treat then because it gets even sillier. I'm hopeful for a big payoff in the finale but have my doubts that will happen. The writing and plot is pretty sloppy and the characters almost cartoonish. Reminds me of a British Ozark.

It's got good and bad Guy Ritchie smell.

I watched Ep 1 today and really liked it.

I'm enjoying Mobland. Pretty standard Guy Ritchie stuff IMO.

Just watched the 1st episode of The Sticky. Decent enough so far.

Also started watching Clarksons Farm, I'm really liking it 3 episodes in.

Also have The Tourist and The Residence (both on Netflix) on deck once I finish up a few others.

The Sticky was actually pretty solid. Kind of a poor man's Fargo.

I liked the first season of The Tourist but didn't make it far in S2

I love Guy Ritchie films but this is not that. He only directed the first two episodes and not involved in the writing/creation like he is with his films. More of an Exec Producer here.

Just watched the Season finale - it had it's moments but pretty meh. Overall I'd give the show 6/10. Will still watch S2 but more of a guilty pleasure type thing.

Whoa. Ozark is great. Mobland is not.

It's no Psych but Pokerface is ok. I watched 4 episodes and it felt like a slog so I don't know if I'll watch the rest but I might at some point.

We enjoyed the first season but never felt it was “great” or anything. We bailed a few episodes into Season 2, though. 22 minutes of the build up to the crime and then 3 minutes of “Wait, that person lied” and then instantly piecing together a bunch of clues that Prime Columbo wouldn’t have put together, then the accusation. Just awful pacing/storytelling.

The Pee-Wee doc on HBO/MAX was solid.

Season 4 of Hacks - ick. Bailed on that one, too.

Ozark was decent if you watched it as a comedy. I got a few laughs from all the ridiculousness of it. Granted, I watched it shortly after a masterpiece like Breaking Bad so it never stood a chance. Still a very, very silly show much like Mobland.

Hmm.. I get the comparison. Some super silly plot drivers written in to each that detracts from otherwise good shows.
But yeah- I think Ozark hit higher highs, so agree it's a better show

Just finished Sirens. Entertaining show. Quick binge, only 5 episodes. Very White Lotus-y.

Mobland: I loved it. It's not a masterpiece of brilliant writing, but its great entertainment. Season 2 vs. Kat will be more of the same. I do need to see Eddie eat a bullet though.
I thought the humor added with the one Harrigan soldier who regularly said or did something inappropriate was great. In the last episode in the scene where he starts eating chips and the reaction from Pierce Bronson was just the right amount of levity to break tension. Mirren's character was over the top, but that's fine. I liked the series a lot!

Your Friends & Neighbors: Going into the last episode I was still curious how the season would wrap up. I liked the ending, although the very last scene was predictable. Not sure what a second season will look like. More of the same as a burglar, or a completely different direction. I really liked the cast in this show. I managed to like everyone. There were a few plot holes that seemed to just be ignored, but I was entertained.

Seriously no spoilers? It aired yesterday.

Edit: I need to apologize. I misread one of the things you posted thinking it was a spoiler.

Why the ick reaction to S4 of Hacks?

Finished Silo Season 2 and boy did an already good show catapult into near greatness. The last couple of episodes were just amazing and worth a lot of the buildup that had been taking place early in the season. Season 3 cant come soon enough.
I was cruising along enjoying this well enough, but the last two episodes were completely on another level of greatness for me, totally agree it pumped me up for season 3.

It's just not funny. Definitely lost their fastball.

Something is really off about S2 of Poker Face. I really liked the first season though. I dig the Natasha vibe - Russian Doll for the win!

I thought the first half of the season was pretty stale but liked the back half. The penultimate episode was really good.
