QB - Byron Leftwich - 12(6)

QB - Chris Simms - 10(4)

QB - J.P. Losman - 6(8)

Went Cheep here, think Simms was great value, but after week 1 not sure

RB - Tiki Barber - 61(4)

RB - Warrick Dunn - 33(5)

RB - Ahman Green - 18(6)

RB - Frank Gore - 10(7)

RB - Maurice Morris - 2(5)

Wanted RBs that catch the ball, Think Gore was best value in RBs, Dunn was a great value after Duckett got traded. The rest had good bye weeks and Morris is a potential home run and thats why I took him as a 5th RB

WR - Joey Galloway - 21(4)

WR - Matt Jones - 14(6)

WR - Lee Evans - 14(8)

WR - Terry Glenn -13(3)

WR - Nate Burleson - 6(5)

WR - Braylon Edwards - 2(6)

WR - Ronald Curry - 1(3)

Took a hit and miss approach here 3 of my WR are with my 3 QBs, Glenn will be my constant one and Edwards was a great value in this, I think he will have 3-4 huge games (2 TDs and 100 yards)

TE - Ben Watson - 9(6)

TE - Vernon Davis - 7(7)

Think I hit a home run here, everyone picked Watson a great value. Davis will be a star in this league i hope this year.

PK - Lawrence Tynes - 2(3)

PK - Josh Brown - 2(5)

Early Bye weeks and the right price

TD - Seattle Seahawks - 4(5)

TD - New York Giants - 3(4)

I tried to get spreed out, early bye weeks with value

week 3 16 points on bye

week 4 95 points on bye not a problem I hope, Dunn, Gore and Green need to come through this week

Week 5 47 points on bye

week 6 55

week 7 17

week 8 14

For what it's worth ...

I got in at the last second and did it all in one quick shot - I'm pretty happy with it considering I didn't take into account most of the strategy I've read about on this thread and I think I got lucky on some bye weeks.

Like most everyone else, I grabbed Gore and Watson. Other popular picks: Palmer, Warner, Jacobs, Houshmandzadeh, Gabriel, Evans, and Burleson (all 20+% owned).

Less popular picks: K.Jones, Blaylock, Bradford, Crumpler, Raiders D (all <6% owned).

LT is my most expensive.

Here it is all put together with price and popularity:

QB - Carson Palmer 22 (21.3%, #4 QB)

QB - Kurt Warner 15 (21.4%, #3 QB)

QB - J.P. Losman 6 (6.3%, #13 QB)

RB - LaDainian Tomlinson 71 (9.5%, #19 RB)

RB - Kevin Jones 38 (4.4%, #31 RB)

RB - Frank Gore 10 (60.6%, #1 RB)

RB - Brandon Jacobs 2 (21.5%, #5 RB)

RB - Derrick Blaylock 1 (3.7%, #36 RB)

WR - T.J. Houshmandzadeh 23 (28.9%, #3 WR)

WR - Lee Evans 14 (21.8%, #8 WR)

WR - Nate Burleson 6 (20.8%, #9 WR)

WR - Ernest Wilford 5 (15.4%, #14 WR)

WR - Corey Bradford 3 (5.9%, #40 WR)

WR - Doug Gabriel 1 (25.9%, #5 WR)

WR - Ronald Curry 1 (11.7%, #20 WR)

TE - Alge Crumpler 15 (2.7%, #21 TE)

TE - Ben Watson 9 (59.2%, #1 TE)

PK - Jason Elam 3 (7.7%, #11 K)

PK - Matt Stover 2 (8.3%, #10 K)

TD - Minnesota Vikings 2 (8.7%, #8 D)

TD - Oakland Raiders 1 (2.4%, #26 D)

Total value: 250

edit: Week 1 looks like 126.65 with goose eggs from both D's. Gore, Warner, LT, Alge lead the way.

What's the quickest and easiest way to find out what yoru roster scored for the week?
quickest? do it yourself with the scoring outlined in the information given.easiest? wait until tomorrow.
a cut and paste from the rules...All scoring is determined final when posted regardless if the NFL later changes the data. Weekly results will be published on Tuesday morning following the completion of all games.Well....its tuesday morning...

QB - Jake Delhomme - 15

QB - Jon Kitna - 12

QB - Philip Rivers - 10

OUCH - My QB's stunk it up thi sweek. I think Rivers will be good if he plays a team where he will actually need to pass more than 10 times.

RB - Rudi Johnson - 42

RB - Jamal Lewis - 24

RB - Reggie Bush - 22

RB - Fred Taylor - 17

RB - Frank Gore - 10

SWEET - If you were just to look at my running backs I would look like a genius after 1 week. All 5 backs were productive.

WR - Muhsin Muhammad - 15

WR - Lee Evans - 14

WR - Reggie Brown - 13

WR - Michael Clayton - 9

WR - Antonio Bryant - 9

WR - Isaac Bruce - 6

WR - Brandon Lloyd - 5

Tried to pick a few old timers that appeared to be priced low (Muhammad & I.Burce) & some young cheap guys with upsdie (L.Evans, R.Brown, Clayton, B.Lloyd). Stallworth going to Philly will severely cripple R.Brown's value. Overall I was very happy with A.Bryant, Muhammad, & I.Bruce's production this week.

TE - Ben Watson - 9

TE - Ben Troupe - 8

PUSH

I think 1/2 the people picked Watson & many picked Troupe. 50 yards receiving should be Watson's cellar this year....he will put up big numbers down the stretch.

PK - Jay Feely - 2

PK - David Akers - 2

PUSH

TD - New York Giants - 3

TD - Miami Dolphins - 3

UGH

I calculated my points for this week and i came up with 108.3 :( I hope its enough.....
I don't think it will be. I think you'll be the only person cut, as FBG makes an example out of those who don't al least read all of the last page of a thread. (Hint: no one gets cut this week.)

Huge week with

Hope I didn't blow my wad in week one when everyone advances

134.4 for me.

No studs...nice even scoring throughout the team.

No Frank Gore though...which may be a blessing in disguise since so many of you have him.

120.9, with little or no help from Carson Palmer, DeShaun Foster, Reggie Wayne, TJHouz (out), and Ben Watson. Thank you Alex Smith, Frank Gore, and Heath Miller.

I haven't bothered checking, but that looks like an awful high total for that team. You aren't by any chance adding the entire roster's points, are you?

That's right, I brought Drew Carter to the party - at 0.8% ownership I call him "The Difference Maker" Too bad my other receivers took the weekend off. :D
