Week 3: 196.6 Woo hoo!

So I did rather pooly in week one, cut it pretty close in week two, and then my squad managed to top everyone in week three? I know that it doesn't really mean anything, but it's pretty cool anyway....

So, between Week 2 and Week 3, now we can play with numbers!

(as long as I'm reading it right):

LT went from 10.6% of 10,000 teams, to 8.6% of 8,000 teams. Or, 1060 owners to 688 owners. -372.

LJ went from 5.3% to 3.6%, 530 teams to 288. -242.

Gore went from 65.4% to 69.2%, 6540 owners to 5536. -1004 teams.

Despite being on a higher % of teams now, 1004 of the 2002 people eliminated had Gore on their team!

Terry Glenn was on a bye, and remains on the same % of teams, 41.7. Went from 4170 owners to 3336, however, -834 teams.

 
I'm sorry, I know Doug's last post (next to the end with percentage ownership info) contains great info.

Problem is, I can't figure out what column means what.

6 here too. I've used each of my QBs already and 5 WRs have chipped in, and K and D rotating nicely. Same 2 RBs and same TE every week, though, although Reggie Bush has threatened to contribute.

Means Chris Simms, who orginally cost $10, is on 31.7% of teams. Delhomme, who cost $15, is on 27.6%. And the average spent on a QB by teams remaining is $41.5.

Only 5: Matt Leinart, Brandon Jacobs, Jerious Norwood, Bobby Engram, Tony Scheffler (at this rate, Scheffler is the biggest waste of $1 ever). That's a total of only $14 dollars spent on non-contributors through Week 3 (compared to $36 for BuckeyArt above, or *gulp* $84 for Uruk_Hai)My worst spent money by far though is $8 for Carolina. :wall:

That actually means Gore is ding better than the odds. If Gore is on 65% of the rosters and 2000 rosters are eliminated, 1300 eliminated rosters would be expected to have Gore on them.

Right - it is the % of Gore owners eliminated compaired to the overall % eliminated.

I had a solid week on the scoreboard with 153.3 points. But with Alexander hurt and FWP on a bye, Gore is my lone hope at RB this week. Also I am doubtful that R. Wayne will play depleting my WR core. C. Simms is gone, but I was not counting on him. I can kiss my chances goodbye.

I am curious how stat changes are handled in this format ? I looked at the rules and saw nothing...how will watsons loss of a 12 yd pass be handled? both in correcting each teams score and in recalculating the cut line ( probably woldnt move anyway) what say ye? it could matter to several teams making/not making the cut

From the rules:
All scoring is determined final when posted regardless if the NFL later changes the data. Weekly results will be published on Tuesday morning following the completion of all games.

At least S.Moss is only on 1% of the remaining teams. But Glenn on 40% could be a problem (for me).

I'm standing at 123.4 + (Favre - 16) + (A.Green - 14) + (Muhammed - 7.7) + (Akers - 12). :unsure:

 
131.8 with Jennings -13.5 and T Jones -8.1 to go.
