That's why I'm screwed week 9. I made one risky call in forming my team: the CAR passing game. Delhomme, Steve Smith, and Key is a relatively rare trio, one that I thought could carry me deep if I made it past week 9. But I doubt I will. With those three out, and because of injury, I'll be fielding this team:Losman Rudi, Fred Taylor, Maurice Morris, Willie Parker, F. Gore Terry Glenn, Troy Williamson, Lee Evans, Engram :X Watson/Scheff Feely / S. Gostkowski Seattle vs OAK Loving my RBs. Watson is pretty much a wash no matter what he does. Unless Losman to Evans is huge Week 9 (Will Losman even be playing?), Seattle D goes off, Engram comes back from his mysterious ailment, and Williamson suddenly plucks his hands out of his backside, I'll be spending weeks 10- thinking about bye week management.

Kitna is on bye this week, and is owned by 27.8% of remaining teams.

Dead weight Simms is owned by 30.5%, so maybe 8-9% own that combo.

That leaves them with one QB this week. If that one QB seriously underperforms or is out (Culpepper, Warner, Losman, Hasselbeck, etc.) there will be some people not making the cut.

Week 9 is Delhomme, McNabb, Pennington, Leinart. Those folks that had the Warner/Leinart handcuff could be in trouble.

Never really feel like I have much of a chance in things like this, but I'm starting to like the way my team is looking. As long as I can get through Kevin Jones' bye week. The guy has carried my RBs most weeks. And if Jenning is hurt for any length of time that just means Driver will probably blow up those weeks.

I was like a little girl logging in this morning to see if I had made the cutoff. I knew it was going to be skin tight. However, I made it through my bye week from hell. How the heck I overlooked the bye weeks leaving me with one RB this week. I may have a week or two left in this thing. We'll see. It's interesting looking at the players above 33.6 in the %LIVE column. Schaub is likely a handcuff to Vick, and with Vick rosters doing well, that makes sense. But how does Chris Simms stay above the 33.6 line? That suggests the rosters who chose him also did well choosing other value picks. Another is Ben Troupe. How many players do you have that are above that 33.6% number (in the %LIVE column)?I've got 18 that are, only 3 that are not - Chamber, M Jones, and Pittsburgh D.

Amani Toomer and Leonard Pope are the only two I have below that number but I'm not sure that's a good thing. This contest will be won by players that go off down the stretch but are only on a relatively few rosters. That is what will seperate them from the multitude of teams that own the likes of Terry Glenn, Frank Gore, Doug Gabriel, et al. I hope I'm wrong because I obviously own a ton of the latter type of players.
