Summerpalooza III: FFA Music/Fantasy Football Draft - Congrats League Champ Pip's Invitation (1 Viewer)

8.07:  WILL FULLER - WR  (went to Notre Dame)

SONG:  SMASHING PUMPKINS - STAND INSIDE YOUR LOVE  (looks like Chicago is just under 100mi from ND)

LINK

One of my favorite Pumpkins songs, but it's on an album that doesn't show up on our drafts and stuff, so I thought I would throw it on this playlist.

Colorado is surprisingly bereft of good music. Not really looking like that's going to change anytime soon either since it has almost no real identifiable culture due in large part to the bevy of transplants
You would think that wouldn't be the case given the copious weed use there. But yeah, the culture seems to be "rich kids who moved there for the skiing and weed but don't have anything to offer culturally."

Updated

Actually doing well with dfs MLB on Fanduel- up $23 for August

DK is the opposite down $15
Nice! About the same here.  Blew through $20 quick on DK, but up a bit on FD.

Don't do too much research anymore, just a quick look at stuff and throw something together.   Seems like FD pricing is a bit easier to fit a variety of stacks in so it's been a little more fun.

Yeah much looser on FD. Even going 2 mid priced SP only leaves you $$ for 1 good player. Catchers aren't even cheap anymore .

Umm....I KNOW we can't get a redo on a player.  Can we get a redo on a song, from earlier in the draft?  I'd like to make a change if possible. :lmao:

8.09 - Diontae Johnson - Pittsburgh Steelers, WR

Song: The Love I Saw In You Was Just A Mirage - The Miracles

(Johnson went to Toledo, an hour from Detroit)

eat* My YouTube is still down. I'll link later to both songs I've posted today.

Also why am I drafting right next to you in ***2*** concurrent drafts (even though one is essentially dead)?
Luck of the draw?

In the 8th round you take my secret stack guy?  Really?  I did a dynasty startup a couple weeks ago and he went in like the 11th round.  Drafting with FBGs sucks.
Oh. That's okay. Just avoid those times you need variance. And you should try drafting in back of simey sometime. I swear...every pick is a snipe or a thought process you're ready to act on but that she's already had, noted, and moved on from.

This whole draft has been a snipe-fest.  Thank God I didn't send money anywhere.

I haven't paid enough attention to know what the plan is should covid happen but do we think bye weeks are locked in stone or could we see them change when the inevitable outbreaks occur.
It seems if clusters happen they will have to get creative with rearranging things.

He is like one concussion short of retirement
DND (do not draft) list for me. A bunch of guys were. Everyone's mileage varies greatly. Lot of FBG staff high on Cooks this year, rarely mentioning his very real head troubles. He's a hit away from hanging them up.

I think Will Fuller is just as risky (not for a concussion, but for getting hurt).

We're getting to the point of the draft where most guys have issues. I looked at like 10 guys for that last pick and none of them didn't have one thing or another hanging over them between age, opportunity, injury, talent, fumbles, god awful QB, etc..
