Summerpalooza III: FFA Music/Fantasy Football Draft - Congrats League Champ Pip's Invitation (1 Viewer)

2 TE is actually more viable than 2 QB since teams actually play multiple TEs in a game.
The nice thing about this league is you can go with a 5 WR set if you really want to. It's be cool if someone could make a strategy like that work.

I'd have no issue going to 2 TE but I wouldn't drop the superflex spot...

Not that I am advocating, but if you want the game to match the NFL, you go 1 qb/1 wr/4 flex (not super)/1 D/1 K.  That's the game these days.  But I'm an old fuddee duddee, so give me more traditional lineups please.

Not all teams use their TE's much as pass catchers. All teams use a QB.  Right now we can play two TEs if we want. Having it mandatory to play 2 TEs doesn't appeal to me.

5 WR might be pushing it, just don’t think WR can compete with QB. But I’m close to trying this my current team of Michael Thomas, Davante Adams, DJ Moore, DJ Chark and George Kittle.

Sure but starting just 1 TE in a league where we play 2 QBs, 2-3 RBs and 3-4 WRs makes the TE spot almost equivalent to kicker. I took Kittle because he’s fun and it’s fun league but it probably wasn’t a smart pick by me.

The league I drafted in Sat has really weird scoring and rosters. Roster is at all times 3QB 6RB 6WR 3TE 2K 2Def. Sucks trying to pull off a trade but overall it's interesting. Lost the Superbowl on a 70yrd A Jones run that with bonuses was worth 18 points.

BS  You took Kittle, because he is the best receiver for the 49ers.

My main league draft is always unpredictable. We have to play an offensive rookie QB, RB, WR, TE, or K  as a flex, therefore rookies can go fast in our draft.

My main fantasy hockey league has that rookie in flex rule as well. I like it, adds an interesting wrinkle. Last year I took Jack Hughes (1.01 in 2019 NHL draft) in round 2 and it almost tanked my season.

Oh, and it's 3 keepers and 10 teams so rookies go real fast. I had to take  Dobbins in the 2nd there.

Did he bust or just not play much? Don't follow NHL anymore.
He'll be good long term but 7 goals, 21 points in 61 games, plus awful on faceoffs, only 10 PIMs/almost no hits, and -26 plus-minus was an absolute disaster for fantasy hockey.

Fantasy hockey?  Welp this thread is totally off the rails.  What's happening next, a friggin RUSH song?!

Did I snipe anybody or leave them awake at the switch tonight? I figure that one was a bit off the beaten path and I would swing for some volatility and upside over a known PPR machine.

You are a sober poop-head for taking him in the TENTH ROUND.
You're gosh darn right I am. But you speak truth, yet colorable: I don't think he was getting back around with all the hype. See above. These things change drastically and day-to-day. If you're using a print out or even information from a computer from three days ago, you're behind.

Yes you did.  Which makes it a good pick.

Argh, huh? I reached for that pick. I had already filled in the other guy on my draft simulator and undid it.
