Yes, the Friday Night game was free on regular YouTube- I already had the App on my TV so very easy but agree the splintering of all the major sports on multiple providers/streamers is getting too much.

Yeah, opening Thursday was NBC and opening Friday was YouTube and then the other Thursdays are Amazon Prime. Sunday night is NBC mostly.

I said O’Connell would protect his young rookie and was flamed. Every relevant stat from ‘25 looks radically different from ‘22-‘24. You can say sample size, but they were arguing it wouldn’t happen at all, sent DMs where they were cursing me, and said I didn’t know enough.

It’s garbage. They’re talking about his poor o-line, and it was abnormal for the second half of his second game, but he still had more time to throw (4th longest), had a pass rate over expectation of at least -2.7%* (O’Connell has never been below +3%), and the amount of plays they ran is dead last in the league while pace of play is bottom 1/3rd, unusual for them.

They have all this data and still were impelled to get caustic. He has some of the worst efficiency and effectiveness stats (bottom 5 in almost every measurement) and it goes on. I told them to hit me up in a month when I first made my claim to allow for sample size, but I’m seriously done with it. Done-zo.

It’s sad. It’s happening a bunch so I’m just vamos constant.

There's ten games to go and the Giants are pretty much dead but it's Kershaw's last start in Dodger Stadium (before his perennial post-season collapse). It's a big deal for Dodgers' fans and they should be able to see it if they've paid for a local package.
