I need to go back through the transaction lists and come up with some songs.

I'm dropping receivers that are ascending. I have difficulties in redraft. It's kind of funny, actually.

I think it's funny I'm projected to lose by over fifteen points to the upswept hair in NV's avatar. I am going to get worked, apparently.

Literate and stylish
Kissable and quiet. . .

So I just got a new phone and can’t add songs to the playlist, even though I see the list on my phone. Is there a shared link so that I can add songs?

I’ve been picking songs with each add but not adding them to the playlist - does anyone actually listen to these playlists?

Sorry for my lack of focus on the playlist.

I’ve been playing it occasionally, but I can’t say that I’ve listened to every song on it. Something a bit different/new listen to and sometimes try to guess the player. No worries if not adding. Plenty of material on it with over 9 hours of music.

The Wonder Years - Cardinals

----

I don't know if I've said this in here on in another thread but at some time over the past few years, The Wonder Years have evolved into my favourite pop-punk band of all time and pretty close to just straight up my favourite band ever.

Cardinal crashed into my window, I think he might die
I'll plan him a funeral, I'll read his last rites
'Cause I know what he saw in that reflection of light
On the glass was a better life

Staring at a hole in your chest
That's been dug there for decades
American broken promises
Caught between the lies you've been fed
And a war with your bloodstream
I should have been there when you needed a friend
I was off on my own again
Selfish and stupid

So if you call me back or let me in
I swear I'll never let you down again
I know the devil you've been fighting with
I swear I'll never let you down again

Ugh, this season feels so tainted by injuries. Our short benches and the 16 teams seems to make the roster a revolving carousel of 1-2 week rentals.

Trying to keep up with the songs so DocOc returns next year ():

Added Tyrod Taylor, QB, NY Jets

CMC is my best player by a mile and a top 5 fantasy guy so far but is he toast as a runner? May not matter for fantasy or the 49ers with all he does as a receiver out of the backfield but the electric runs are completely gone aren't they.

They were talking about it in the Shark Pool. I missed a lot of the first half and was distracted by baseball and other things, but I saw a couple runs. Seems that way. I wrote this:

It seemed like he was okay, but something was missing. I sorta changed my mind. And so I went back and watched Week Two against the Saints, and he was okay, I guess. He didn't bounce anything with a ton of speed to the outside and he kept himself between the tackles, which I noticed immediately tonight. Between the center and guard or guard and tackle but rarely outside. That doesn't seem like a good thing, either for him or for fantasy points (they've found you score a lot more points on designed runs that allow for a back to get outside, and they only run those if the back has the speed to do it).

Check this blurb. I'm curious about his agility, burst, and long speed at the second level.

"Per NFL Next Gen Stats (h/t ESPN's Ben Solak), McCaffrey's max speed in each of the four games he played was 16.4, 16.7, 16.1 and 17.4 mph. Solak noted the speed of 17.4 mph would have been McCaffrey's fifth-worst in a game during the 2023 season when he won Offensive Player of the Year.

Having had a full offseason to recover, Juszczyk's comments echo a lot of the sentiments around McCaffrey. Offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak told reporters in June after mandatory minicamp that McCaffrey looked 'awesome.'" - Adam Wells, Bleacher Report

I just checked Next Gen Stats and was able to isolate the Rams/49ers that way. The top speed they clocked him at was 16.77 MPH. The link is below but will probably be updated and lost by Tuesday. There aren't always game conditions where you get a runway and so a lot of guys aren't showing up, but that he touched the ball thirty times is both disheartening when one looks at his speed and appalling that Kyle Shanahan gave him 22 carries for 57 yards and a 2.6 YPC. That's awful in two respects. It kills his body and if he's that ineffective then from a team perspective of "best guy plays," somebody else should be getting those carries.

Anyway, I hope this helps.

Good luck with the Jays this week. Should be an interesting series.

eta* the LA Rams have a tough run defense, by the way. This match-up was rated as a bottom five match-up in FBG articles. I wish DVOA was still available.

Makes you wonder why they traded Jordan Mason.

Yeah, you can find my comments about that in a bunch of places. One thing about Mason is that I figured the 49ers were expecting maybe too much from him in the passing game and that they were used to McCaffrey's talent, but it doesn't seem like Minnesota is using him in that way either. So maybe Shanahan saw a back that didn't have the capabilities that Shanahan wants. I don't know, but they only got a 5th and 2026 6th while sending back a 2025 6th. They netted a fifth, which seems like Minnesota got in and took their cookie jar.

I didn't criticize San Francisco, but I knew it was a sweet deal for Minnesota right when it happened.

My whole bench is either broken or on bye so guaranteed a perfect lineup this week. Unfortunately, looks like I'll be lucky to break 80 points.
I added Alec Pierce and was feeling good about him as a flex dude... Immediately ruled out

Best laid plans you know . . .

I switched my guys. Sauce will have Pickens and Tolbert will likely get Bret Stephens. In line for a career night, I hope.
