This is what I don't get about foregoing K and D here - I get the concept generally - but with waivers running next Tuesday here and a game Thursday - you're not really gaining anything by not picking a K and DEF at the end. There's no preseason or camp left so you're likely just be dropping the last two guys you picked in the draft.

Well there's always legal trouble or PEDs to consider

I suppose that's a valid point even if the chances are pretty remote at this point.

Jobs are still unsettled and people make bad picks. My Najee pick could have been awful if all of the sudden he’s not practicing and he’s out half the year with an eye injury. Shakir just started practicing yesterday. I hadn’t taken a backup QB until the 13th bc I forgot.

I didn’t really draft with anything but a whim and three full days I was questionable at best as far as a plan or thinking. These two rounds made up for it (my 14th round pick will wind up meaning little).
 
I'm going to be gone for a few hours and not sure when I can check back in. Is it ok to say just give me any available kicker when I am OTC and I will pick a song later?

I really don't care which kicker I get.

I didn't take one at all - my QB doesn't have a bye until Week 12.

Makes sense for you, but I have Hurts so that’s a trickier proposition. He misses a game or two every year. It’s one of those things where in this league you wind up blowing 40 FAAB bucks to make sure you have a QB when yours gets hurt and then your FA year is sunk.

I often play without backups all year, but Hurts has gone 15-15-15-17-15 GP.
