T. Jones-who is leery this week (1 Viewer)

I am currently starting Jones over L Washington, Rudi, and Foster. I love the matchup but based on his past performances, and every outlet imaginable reporting Benson will get more, maybe significantly more carries, I am now thinking about benching him for Rudi. I know Rudi will get the carries. Who else is worried?

 
I was thinking the same thing but he has really only done it 2 weeks so far this year, and if the game gets out of line, Benson could see 15-20 carries.

 
Mort on ESPN, just reported Benson "to get alot more carries". I am in the same situation, makes me want to think about putting Ahman Green in there!

 
starting both TJ and Benson vs the 49ers! Only other choice was Barlow so not too tough of a decision - may not be a bad week to start them both if you have bye week issues

 
Reported between 10-12 carries, still the bulk to TJ. Even 1-5 means a lot more carries from what the complainer was getting before.

Now that I read that I'm thinking about changing to Rudi...
 
I had been planning on starting Rudi. For those of you benching Rudi in favor on TJ, would you seriously start TJ and Benson instead?

SF is giving 120 yd/gm and have surrendered 9 TDsATL 98 and 2.The "match-up" obviously favors TJ over Rudi.I'm past the point of going with my gut, my gut said TJ 'til I read all the Benson to get more carries talk.

How did you derive at these numbers? What makes you think that Jones won't get more? It was very windy here in Chicago yesterday, not sure how it will be today by the Lake. I think that they will try to run more this week and keep Grossman's mistakes to a minimum after his last outing. And unless the Bears are winning big, Benson will only come in for spot duty. Thats my guess.
 
Sorry I don't have a link, but I did read that Benson would probably get every 3rd series. But who knows what's going to happen once the game starts?

I'm starting J Lewis (blech) over TJ based on the fact that he SHOULD get the bulk of the carries if he starts quickly. Either way, I don't like it.

 
From what im hearing lots of running so i would start Jones.

Im tempted to start Benson my other options are Burress (wind) or Jordan(we all know)

What do you guys think?

 
ESPN reported a while ago that Jones will start, but Benson will get more carries that he has been getting.

I'm going with Jones over Gore. I just don't see Gore doing much against the Bears D and Jones has a better chance of big plays. Counting on just a big run or two to fill in while Brown is on his bye this week. FWP is my other starter.

 
I'm going with Leon over Tom Jones.

Leon is running a lot better so I'm giving him the nod.

Benson worries me and the Bears getting out to a 30 point lead worries me.

 
I'm sticking with TJ...

A strange sense of peace about this came over me about 5 minutes ago... right or wrong, I'm ok with the decision.

Why oh why do I listen to this "Benson will get more carries" crap, and bench TJ as a result.

Left TJ in, and I am very happy as a result. Nice 2 attempts for 3 yards by Benson. :X

I thought about play Muhammad over Bryant Johnson too, so I :bag: that one so far...
