TE Brock Bowers, LV (1 Viewer)

I have to start 2 of Goedert, Bowers and Tre Tucker at TE and Flex. Leaning toward Goedert and Bowers but I'm certain whomever I bench will go off. Tre Tucker has been impressive lately and may benefit from injuries the same as Bowers, but he'll probably ride the pine this week. So I'm fully expecting 8 rec for 120 and a TD from Tucker. But obviously I'm hoping for Bowers' big breakout game tomorrow.

It was a really terrible gameplan from the Raiders offense. They lucked out that the defense stepped up/Watson and co. cratered even worse.

No idea why Bowers is chipping and running 1-2 yard routes. He should have been getting 7+ targets up the seam. Use someone else for those chips.

Catches - 18 - Jason Witten 2012
Yards - 214 - Shannon Sharpe 2002
TDs - 5 - Kellen Winslow 1981

So I’m conservatively projecting 20/250/6

That would be a pretty good game. Probably a week winner for most😏

100%. Would have topped 100 yards and 2 TDs in the first half alone if Minshew wasn't a complete joke. He's quickly making a case that he's already the best TE in the NFL.

I witnessed Minshew step up in the pocket and avoid the four man rush, and then back pedal right back into the defenders. It was incredible.
 
Next Gen Stats
Brock Bowers reached a top speed of 19.58 MPH on his 57-yard TD, the 2nd-fastest speed by a tight end this season.

Bowers gained +31 yards after the catch over expected on the play, the most by a tight end on a play this season.

Without a doubt my favorite player to own in fantasy right now. I invested a lot of time and effort talking him up to my leaguemates all spring and summer. Not only fantasy wise, but real NFL wise. I wanted so badly for the Bears to get him at #9. I don’t even care that we already have Kmet.

It just feels good when you’ve extremely invested in a rookie and it pays off.

He’s just scratching the surface as well. With piss poor QB play. Can’t help but feel like I own a 21 year old version of Travis Kelce right now.
 
The TDs will come in time. Perhaps not until next season though. But hey, there’s nowhere to go but up in 2025 as far as QB play is concerned.
 
He's a bit like McBride, great athlete, great hands, gets open constantly, tons of targets but for some reason, the TDs aren't there. Poor QB play in the main.
 
Next Gen Stats
Brock Bowers caught 13 of 16 targets for 124 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 against the Dolphins, recording 78 of his yards after the catch (+30 YACOE).

Bowers leads all tight ends in YAC (385) and ranks 2nd in YAC over expected (+104) this season.
