Sorry but the Fannin hype is getting in the way of smart decisionsBenched Kraft for Old Fannie in one league, come on Harold we need ya
I do have lots of Kraft going but there's obvious regret... for now...Sorry but the Fannin hype is getting in the way of smart decisionsBenched Kraft for Old Fannie in one league, come on Harold we need ya
Yeah that’s too extreme. Kraft is top 6 at worst.Sorry but the Fannin hype is getting in the way of smart decisionsBenched Kraft for Old Fannie in one league, come on Harold we need ya

Check out Harold Fannin Jr.'s College Stats, School, Draft, Gamelog, Splits and More College Stats at Sports-Reference.comwww.sports-reference.com
117-1555 and almost 10 TDs last year, he went double digit on TDs his Freshman and Sophomore Seasons
I've never heard of a TE catch 117 balls in one season, remarkable
Go to Page 1, you've liked him for a week?I have been driving the Fannin hype train all week and had him penciled in as a starter in one of my leagues, however Kraft killed me last night and I am contemplating my lineup. I have Kincaid and if Knox misses the game I am tempted to swing back his direction.
Kinda wanna say F it and go Fannin or bust!
Would you give up any of them if someone offered you Fannin?I’m in desperate need of RB depth. What do you think I could get in return for Fannin? Pollard, Conner, Javonte?

and from the look of it, Njoku is getting his regular workload in terms of snap count. his role is unchanged. But Fannin is being moved around the formation like a chess piece. This might be the most interesting and dynamic TE in some time. sometimes he lines up as a WR or in the slot. sometimes as a TE. I love the potential of this guyFrom that article -
Fannin was one of the best offensive players in the country for two straight seasons at Bowling Green. In 2023, he recorded a 90.7 PFF receiving grade, and in 2024, he led the country with a 96.4 PFF receiving grade. He was labeled as a tight end, but Bowling Green used him everywhere. He logged inline snaps as a true tight end and saw time in the slot, as an outside receiver, as a running back or fullback and even as a wildcat quarterback.
Bowling Green aimed to get him in advantageous yards-after-the-catch situations through that versatility. In 2023, 406 of his 623 receiving yards came after the catch, and in 2024, 873 of his 1,555 yards arrived with the ball in his hands. He was such a Swiss Army knife in college, and while I could see his yards-after-the-catch athleticism, I just wasn’t sure an NFL team was going to give him that kind of freedom to be a jack-of-all-trades weapon.
The early signs say otherwise. The Browns handed him 72% of the team’s offensive snaps and 35% of the special teams snaps in Week 1. He logged 29 snaps as an inline tight end, 17 in the slot, seven as an outside receiver, three in the backfield as a fullback and even one at wildcat quarterback, where he gained three yards on a first-and-10 situation.
It’s a small sample size, but the early indications say the Browns will be very willing to get creative with one of college football’s most unique offensive playmakers over the past two years.
Im in the Same boat with him and engram. I Wanna start Fannin but think engram deserves at least one more game, no?Paid $16 FAAB in my league to win this dude ($100 budget), sitting Evan Engram @ Indy for him.
Here's the thing. People lost their mind over Taysom Hill because of his versatility and Payton's obsession with using him, sometimes to the detriment of his team. Fannin is coming into the league as a rookie and seeing similar usage at more positions, albeit a little fewer snaps. They're using him just like at Bowling Green to force mismatches and rack YAC (pun intended). It might be early for him, but why not stump for the kid?
Read this. There's no way he's going to get any traction playing so few snaps/running so few routes. He's have to be targeted on a third of the plays he's in to pay off. I'm not dropping Engram, but I am a bit cooler on him than I was when I picked him 6.4 in my 3RR 16-team league. Fannin Jr. is also playing a Baltimore team historically pretty bad at guarding TEs.Im in the Same boat with him and engram. Yeah, they paid $23 mil for Engram. He's in Payton's plans, whatever they are.Fannin went for 20% FAAB ($10 of $50) in our league.
By the Engram owner... ironically. He dropped Engram for Fannin. Not saying I agree with it... I like Fannin, but have to think he had someone else he could have dropped instead of Engram.
Agree it’s none of them. You need another a game or 2 of production to be able to swap Fannin for a back like that. Pollard might be the guy to eye. If Fannin goes like 5/50/1 this week and Pollard has another 1 catch 60 yard game, 3 ypc and no TDs their values might line up.None of themI’m in desperate need of RB depth. Pretty meh stats so far. I guess there's always garbage time, right? Right?ok the reverse mush worked, thanks Jamo
I was in the wrong thread, Flacco has the old man ghosts, smart enough to ditch it to avoid hits, nothing can develop, so nothing can happenPretty meh stats so far. I guess there's always garbage time, right? Right?ok the reverse mush worked, thanks Jamo
after letting the bills off the hook for the best comeback likely in years.....you could bet they were not going to let up in this game. In retrospect, the Ravens came in mad off that Bills game it feels like
He caught every ball and while he didn't see as much varied usage, he clearly seemed to be a weapon out there and not just a dumpoff guy.Harold Fannin caught 5-of-5 targets for 48 yards in the Browns’ Week 2 loss to the Ravens.
The targets dropped a bit in this one, but Fannin’s five targets on the day tied David Njoku while his 48 receiving yards were second only to Jerry Jeudy’s 51. Fannin played on 46 offensive snaps per the early PFF data, with 23 of those coming from the slot. He remains a viable fantasy option after breaking out in Week 1, but will face a tough test in Week 3 against the Packers. He profiles as a fringe TE1/TE2.

@MichaelFFlorio
Harold Fannin Jr Week 2- 63% snaps- 5 snaps from backfield, 17 from TE, 21 from slot, 2 from wide- 5 targets - 9.8 fantasy points
Definitely holding.Browns should be down early and often this year which bodes well for airing it out. I am excited to see Fannin progress as the season goes on.
Really really tough match-up this week. Baltimore and then Green Bay is a tough 2 weeks. The Lions week 4 should be more much appealing.Feed Fannin!!!
with the Packers pass rush, he'll have to get it out fast too. Both Fannin and Njoku should get some.Don't have much other choice, but to start Fannin.
Could grab one of Strange, Henry, Kinkaid, etc.
Screw it. Fannin is getting targets, 5 receptions in each of the first two games, and GB actually is statistically weak against TEs.
Flacco will probably be slinging it again playing catchup.
Benjamin Solak
Browns TE Harold Fannin Jr. running the sort of route the Chiefs love to give Kelce: intermediate out-breaker that can just sit in space.
Look at Fannin elevate, plucks, then protects the catch point. Really like how he addresses the football.
