TE Kyle Pitts, ATL (9 Viewers)

Call me a fool, but with London and Penix out, something has to change. This is the critical moment for Kyle Pitts to ascend. If he fails now, then he truly is the player we’ve seen, and this will be my last-ditch effort ever rooting for better production, let alone a breakout season. The excuses are gone.
I agree. Opportunity is presenting itself. What can he do with it?

Which probably means I’ll drop him and he’ll have a nice game.

He’s not going to suddenly turn into a stud IMO. If after 5 years he needs all these pieces to come together to become a stud, it isn’t happening. But I’ll still probably pick him up with Ertz on bye next week lol.

On the one hand he is putting up the second most yards/game of his career, 43.4 (60.4) and the most receptions per game of his career, 4.7.

On the other hands his yards/reception is 3.4 yards lower, 9.2, than his previous career low.

I don't have high hopes for this week against the Saints with Kirk Cousins under center but, maybe 5-46-0 is enough to get him in some fantasy lineups.

Truly the Kyle Pitts experience.
In fact this is so true that I’m about to do it to myself. *deep sigh* …

The last time Kirk Cousins started for the Falcons was Week 8 of this season. Drake London was out for that game too. The Falcons only mustered 10 points of offense and got thumped by the Dolphins. Even with all that, Kyle Pitts caught all 9 of his targets for 59 yards, leading the team in all three categories and finishing as TE6 on the week in PPR leagues.

(Kyle Pitts fantasy ownership is an abusive relationship. I’m convinced.)

"It will be different this time, baby, I promise."
