Fed with a chance at an early break and Rafa wins both set points - these are the chances I'm referring to that Fed needs to convert to win.

Like someone shived his arm and he can't hit a backhand anymore- Fed has 2 break points to go up a break in the 2nd set. Then promptly loses the next 8 straight points to be down 3-1. I'd love to know how many players he's ever lost 8 straight point to. Has to be a low number.
alwaysshould we be pulling for an epic 5-setter or would it be better to just finish it off so the winner is a bit more rested for Sunday?
I don't want to see a fifth set. Are you nuts?should we be pulling for an epic 5-setter or would it be better to just finish it off so the winner is a bit more rested for Sunday?
I'm sitting here watching with no volume just to focus better. I think Roger may be playing better now than he was at 27. In fact, I am pretty sure of it. Even looking at some old footage on the other monitor.Roger has been dropping balls off the table right on the back line
Extremely stressful. He lost last year after having mp and i was having flashbacks. Most stressful 4 set match I've seen in a while. I think because we all knew if Roger didn't close it out there Rafa would have won the 5th set.
Imagine if Tiger Woods had 10-12 green jackets.Rafa has won 12 of his 18 at the French and is 3-2-1 at the other majors.
Fed is 8 (Wimbledon) and 6-5-1 across the other three majors.
Djoker is 7 (Aussie) and 4-3-1 elsewhere. He's the real threat to Federer's legacy IMO.
And The Masters was played on an astroturf course.Imagine if Tiger Woods had 10-12 green jackets.
It kind of is; you literally can’t find a weed on 400 acres. Don’t think there’s very many earthworms either. And The Masters was played on an astroturf course.
Halep is making some amazing shots but I half wonder if getting #24 is mental for Serena.Serena getting destroyed
I think for a decent period she was. Serena seemed off today. Her theatrics about her serve when she hit a couple of good ones was pretty silly.Wasn't halep number one a couple years ago? I think it was a short reign but she's a nice player
3 unforced errors and converted on 4 of 5 break points. That is exquisite play under pressure. That was a straight butt-whippin' by Halep. I don't care how many errors Williams made (& she made way too many), no player in the world was beating Halep today.
Like Otello said, the technology has changed the game. I think the balls are different now too - not as fuzzySo I used to be a huge tennis fan growing up, kind of lost interest for 10-15 years and am now back in. How come nobody serve and volleys anymore? Everything is baseline. Haven’t seen it almost at all these two weeks. Just a lost art?
Nope, just appears to have lost his head and/or his energy levels for a brief moment.I can only watch updates via app, did Novak get hurt in that 2nd set? Watching how the points went it looked quite unnatural a whooping even coming from Fed
