**Texans at Colts** (+3, 49) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Houston is the "soup du jour" after last seasons surprise.
Colts will be tough if Anthony stays healthy all season.
Tough opener for the team favored to win their division.
But I believe...

Texans- 33
Colts- 23

Texans are for real and even better than last season.

Richardson…..yeah no.

Texans 31
Colts 20

Texans 50-0

This one feels like a tossup to me. I do like the under, and I while I think the Texans are probably a better team, I think Indy's DL makes this one tougher than expected.

I'll say Texans and the under.

I do think Collins/Dell each have a big play but I don't see the Texans having consistent drives in this one.

I think this is a potential big Jonathan Taylor game, especially in the big play department. Houston is a boom/bust defense to me, and Richardson will draw attention just like Hurts did for Barkley Friday. Not saying Taylor's day will be THAT big, but he'll have a nice week.

Texans OL already in midseason form - Howard getting beat and Tunsil already racking up false start penalties

Come on Ryans. That whole series is on the refs though. The Texans spiked it at 5 seconds so they either needed more time or needed to count the spike. Both 5 seconds and not honoring the spike was wrong.

Ball should have been spotted at around 11-12 seconds and they should have announced that the clock would run. But the Texans should have known that the spike would be nullified and the clock should run.

Oh wow, I didn’t realize the Colts had called a timeout to protest the time on the clock. That time should have never wound if so. That would also explain why Houston lined up for a play.

That's true. If the Colts called timeout then the clock shouldn't have run. Refs did a list job explaining what they were going with there. Shouldn't have been any runoff if they called timeout

Mixon looks to have plenty left in the tank and the Bengals had no interest in keeping him and the Texans were very happy to take him

How can you waste so much time?????
The Colts let way over an extra minute tick off the clock by using huddles with less than 4 minutes to go down by two scores.
