Last of the Mohicans is one I'd end up watching whenever it came on on cable. A bit heavy on the melodrama and corniness at times, but still a good sweeping epic kind of watch.

This is a terrific and scary courtroom thriller. Gere has never been better as the cynical attorney Martin Vail. But the real star is Norton is his debut role as the killer with multiple personalities. Or maybe he’s faking…

Primal Fear too low. Norton is absolutely amazing in his role. One of the few movies that was better than the book it was based on.

The twist in Primal Fear blew me away - haven't watched it in 20 years so not sure if it holds up but was a great movie and Norton was fantastic. I'm not a big fan of Gere but he's decent in this one.

The world's introduction to the immense talents of Edward Norton - what an unexpected transformation at the end. Thank god there was no social media back then to spoil it.

Think people will say that throughout - taking an entire decade like the 90's will produce a stellar list.

I'm good with the placement here but I need to revisit it one day. Score is incredible.

Tbf, I'd been questioning the inclusion of a bunch of these so far.

Mohicans is a great, sweeping epic of a movie. Agree with poster above about the melodrama, but in terms of the whole movie experience, it's tough to beat.

But looking forward to seeing the upcoming movies that did. So far, so good.

It would probably be top 5 for me. Everything about it was outstanding including the twist at the end.

Man, this is top 10 for me. One of my favorite movies all time, not just the 90s.

Also, top 20 soundtrack all time.

Biggest miss thus far.

I've only seen Last of the Mohicans a few times but man that last little action sequence with the music and very little dialogue is just hauntingly beautiful.

The 90s were the golden age of the animated Disney musical and the 4 best ones will appear on this list. Mulan is a fantastic coming of age film with a great story, characters and music. For a kids film the action scenes are really quite epic; the snow avalanche battle is vintage Sergei Eisenstein, while the individual fight scenes are distinctly reminiscent of Jackie Chan films. This is just superb filmmaking.

Pixar was not owned by Disney in the 1990s. And another was released under the Touchstone label, rather than Disney. Not sure I’d really count that as Disney animation.

Sorry. I really enjoyed LOTM but apparently not as much as everyone here. For me it was one of those uneven films in which the second half (after they escape the fort) was a bit of a let down. The first half is great, the second half just so-so. That’s why I ranked it where I did.

Its almost like he was doing a nod and wink to the reader with preposterous story lines and character development
The first one was well written, engaging and shocking. Sequels are little more than toilet paper.

They were okay but not great. Gere's character turns prosecutor and basically hunts Stampler. They "jump the shark" quickly.

You liked the Pride & Prejudice part more than the John Wick part? You're nothing if not consistent.
