Think about the thickness. I just purchased a couple of iPod Touch 5s for my kids a couple weeks ago, and they were incredibly thin (If I read correctly somewhere that they are about the thickness of the new 6s.) They felt like you could snap them in half easily. After putting them in a fairly sturdy case, they were better.
So with the larger phone, you may be able to get that stuff in a smaller space and not make the new phone as big.

Is that only if you sign up with that ATnT next plan? The kid I was talking to was rambling and barely understandable while rushing me off the phone, saying something like the contracts are basically worthless and I thought he mentioned the trade in with the Next plan.yep, just talked to them. dial **attbb from your phone, then listen through the prompts. They then text you a link to your phone that takes you to a site that detects what is up with your phone. The guy at the store told me to just select their store during the preorder and then bring in the phone next friday to swap out.WHAT'S THIS NOW???

HEADS UP ON POTENTIAL 6+ SCREEN "ISSUE"
Looks like the 6+ is using a 87% downsample to size the 3x render to the screen's dimensions. This could result in VERY slight anti-aliasing instead of pixel perfect rendering we've traditionally seen. That said while it's less than ideal, given the pixel density of these screens, I'd be amazed if it's even remotely noticeable.

GSM Arena is reporting the 6+ features 2GB RAM vs 1GB RAM in the 6
Just digging up on more info across the web before making the final call and pre-ordering tomorrow... figured I'd share with those who are also making the decision.

That part of the guy's article is about as bad as any of the "my opinion on phones is the only one that's right" posts in this thread IMO.
It really comes off as kind of insulting to us Note users. "They love their phones, would never want to go back to a smaller one, but they're just idiots. They're wrong. It's too big."
But maybe I'm just misreading what he's saying.
I think there's a good chance that if he'd spent the last 5 months on a note instead of the nexus, he'd be writing how there might be other adjustments to make, but they are also worth it in the end.
What does that even mean that no one will try to use the 6+ like an existing iPhone?

Settled... Buying in-store because I can exchange in-store ($35 restocking fee within 14 days). Going to try the 6+ for 10 days (travelling to fL and New Orleans on back to back weekends) and if It's truly too big? I'll just swap down to the 6 when I get back from NOLA. I Do have to buy in store though, or risk slow postal service exhange (days/weeks with no phone).
FINAL ANSWER.

Everything syncs with google. You sign into your google account on your new phone, tablet etc all of your apps are DL'd, all of your music is right there etc etc its simple. You do not have to customize a thing if you do not want to and adding a widget is as simple as adding an app. If your parents cant do that I dont know what to tell you.

Never had a problem. I'm not a skinny jeans guy, though.
I noticed the difference in the feel in my pocket for the first day or two. Hasn't bothered me since.

On the fence as well. With the better battery life and better camera features, the 6plus seems to be the better choice. A bit nervous about the size though and ability to carry it around comfortably. Wish Apple would have at least had them in their store to touch prior to the pre sale.

It doesn't really go so low under my ### that I sit on the entire thing. But yeah, it's in my back pocket just like a wallet. Never had a problem sitting down.

Gone back and forth between 6 and 6+, and decided that I use my phone with one hand so much that I think the 6+ isn't practical for me. It's pretty much impossible to get to both the home button and the top of the screen with my thumb on one hand. I know Apple addressed that issue with the double tap screen pull down, but it seems that having to go through those extra steps just so I can reach the top of the screen would be annoying.

i think apple will make the double tap work seamlessly. the best thing they do is make things simple and user friendly. even the 6+ isn't super wide so it can be gripped and the bottom half can be used one handed. it's too big for a back pocketer though.

I've read countless reviews and done tons of research on screen size difference (I'm overly anal). Everything I've seen states that very few people have ever regretted going to a bigger screen. Even though it may take a few days to get used to the difference, supposedly the increase in size is worth it.

I printed out a replica 6+ and made it into a cardboard cutout. It will fit in the back pocket...and will fit in a front pocket too (normal jeans).

People that keep saying you'll want the bigger one may be going too far here. That's been the case for the last 5 years or so, sure, but at some point, it's gotta just be too big for a phone. Certainly, convenience-wise. I have a feeling we've reached that point. I mean you gotta be kidding me, needing two hands to use your phone (tablet)? I understand it for gamers and movie watchers, sure, but if you don't do that stuff, then I'd rather not carry a typewriter around.
Same here. Still no confirmation email, and when I tried going back to my AT&T account, it has me waiting in line.
