Love the shoooooooowwww

Cec, what are your thoughts on Demaryus Thomas and his achilles injury. Do you see him having a productive career after this year, or do you have doubts that he will ever make it as a starter and impact player?

INJURED PLAYERS WHO WILL PRODUCE W4 AND ON...

My league lets me keep injured players (Out or Doubtful) in IR (extra roster spots!!!), who would you recommend I target in Ofense (i.e. Maclin, Cooley, T.O., etc) and IDP (Adrian Wilson, etc).

Thanks!!!

What's up fellas?

Are you worried about Welker? Back when they had Randy Moss Belicheck used them as an over/under threat the likes of which we hadn't seen. Then when Randy left defenses teed off on Welker and then Belicheck adapted with the TEs. Was Welker's production just a product of the Patriots' cyclical offensive strategy/personnel? Or do you see him putting up 90-100 catches in 2011?

Also, now that Lee Evans is gone, who do you see as the primary beneficiary? Will someone be consistent enough to warrant being drafted (Brad Smith, CJ Spiller, Roscoe Parrish) or is this a weekly sort of offense where we won't know anything except Stevie?

Thanks!

Well hello Mr. Fancy Pants!

Alright Wildman, you go into the draft armed to 'upside down' your foes into whimpering submission, BUT you've a middle/low first round pick and, as the draft progresses you see Andre, & Calvin or Roddy go, and maybe Rodgers disappears. What do you do? Stick to your guns and hope for a Fitz/Nicks tandem to anchor your strategy? Shift gears and attack with a wholly different strategy because this clearly means some top RB talent has slipped...thoughts?

Thanks

Hi Guys, love the show. Trying to spead the motorboating love here in Denmark!

Could you name a couple of players who have gotten your attention after week one of the preseason? Maybe a guy like Lance Kendricks?

Thanks!

Hi guys, what's up? Love the show...

How much weight do you put into the first preseason games? Are you worried about some players (which ones), based on the first games? Are you higher on some players now?

Keep up the great work!

Truly Yours

Good Evening Sig, Matt and Cec,

There's a lot of brothers out there fakin' and perpetrating on Peyton Manning this season. I saw him fall to the 7th QB taken in a live draft last week.

Seems like people are likening this to a really slow start ala 2008. However, would the fact that it's a neck and not a knee injury make him less prone to a slow comeback? Besides missing team reps, wouldn't he still able to keep his legs and cardio in condition this season, unlike '08. According to sources and beat writers, he's already running, throwing and showing up at preseason games. Someting he didn't do at all leading up to the 2008 regular season.

Are owners overreacting? Is this the year to take Manning at a bargain price?

Or do you expect another rough start?

Softly,

One

Hey guys,

With the CJ3 holdout dragging on, how much value do you place on Javon Ringer and/or Jamie Harper at this point? Are they a savvy pickup with a limited roster (18-20 players) or are they mostly a play for deeper leagues? Or do you think one of the sides will cave and CJ3 will be back for week 1?

Thanks!

I took the bait on Cecil hyping up McGahee and Bloom hyping Ingram.

My top 4 RB's in a start 2 or 3 PPR 12 team auction (1 point PPR and 6 point TD):

Turner

Ingram

Blount

McGahee

I'm counting on these guys getting lots of carries/yards & touchdowns to offset receptions.

Can my strategy of grabbing cheaper touchdown yardage guys rather than receiving RB's in PPR work?

That IS rock n roll...

1. What players MUST you leave your re-draft PPR draft with, giving consideration to draft value?

2. After the top 5 or so (Ingram, AJ, Julio, Ryan Williams, D. Thomas), what Rookies MUST you target in your Dynasty Rookie drafts?

Hey guys, the audible podcast is a highlight of my fridays.

I have seen the hyped rookies (Ingram, Jones, Green) go for crazy prices (over $25 each) in recent $200 cap auction leagues, where they basically need to finish in the top 15 to validate their salary in 2011. What are your reasonable expectations for these 3 guys and what do you think about taking a lower cost option as a rookie flyer like Little, Cobb, or Kendricks for the end of your roster?

Guys I love the show and I'm now a new subscriber!!

In a PPR with the 9th pick with some killer keepers (Rodgers, Peterson, Rice and DonMega) and im looking for another WR. Please give me your rankings and opinion on the following guys who I think will be there:

Harvin

Holmes

Collie

Lloyd

Colston

Bryant

Thanks for the opinions guys, they're very much appreciated!

And if you can take another.... You both have spoken highly of not one but TWO Oakland WR's in Ford and Moore who is the better play THIS season?

Thanks again

I've heard lots of Mark Ingram love from you guys and I have been right there with you. Do you think we may be overlooking Pierre Thomas a bit? Saints beat writer Jeff Duncan wrote earlier today that the carries should be pretty even. What do you think? I am starting to think Ingram is getting too rich for my blood, especially in PPR.

The latest podcast on the Pats has you guys taking Vereen over Ridley. I'm hearing rumors that Vereen may be placed on IR when the season starts. I added Vereen in my draft last night in the last round of a 20 round league, should I drop him and add Ridley? Thanks guys!!!

One more guys- I added a TE late in my non PPR 6 pt TD 10 team league. I drafted Bret Celek and Brandon Pettigrew. 1 QB, 2RB, 3WR 1TE league,

Should I go to the waiver pool where I have unlimited picks??, on waivers are Keller, Olsen, Heath Miller, Jermaine Gresham, Zach Miller, Ben Watson, Fred Davis, Shiancoe, Ed Dickson, and the bottom of the barrel.

Im loaded at WR with Megatron, Nicks, V JAX, Austin Collie and Jacoby Ford

RBs are Foster, Best, Jacobs, Delone Carter, Shane Vereen

QBs Rothlisberger, Stafford, Freeman

I just want to pay you all a compliment. I'm a first time subscriber, and was won over by your amazing depth of analysis and football intelligence, but also (and perhaps more importantly) by the intelligence of your subscribers. I love the fact that they don't seem to take a lot of your time with "Who should I keep?" questions, but dive into questions needing more analysis. It amazes me how many podcasts and websites spend time on questions that could just be answered with a ranking sheet, and I appreciate the depth of your content AND subscribers!

With that in mind . . . Who should I keep of the following players? Just kidding! Keep on motorboating, you old sailors, you!

Hey guys. Love the show.

Who's the WR to have in Oakland now and for the future, Ford or Moore? There's been a fair amount of positive news on both but Moore's stock seems to be skyrocketing recently. What are some realistic projections for both?

Thanks!

Care to discuss a little bit of 2 QB league strategy? Specifically some value guys you would target. Bonus bobos if you can pronounce my handle correctly.

Hey guys, you have probably already seen the 10 bold prediction thread in the shark pool. Can you say some of the predictions that you agree with, and give a couple of your own?

I don't think Julio Jones is getting enough love considering what the Falcons gave up for him. What kind of season do you see him putting together? And do you think his arrival puts a sizeable dent in Roddy White's numbers?

Hey guys - can you touch on this sleeper/lower tier wr's briefly?

Can you guys talk about the Arizona WR2 battle?

With hearing a lot about Denarius Moore in Oakland, I haven't heard anything about playing time. What are the odds this is all hype and he's the #4 or #5 receiver come week 1?

Dezmon Briscoe - hearing a lot of things about him - any shot he's a week 1 starter? Beyond? Or is Benn 100% cemented as WR2?

I've heard a lot of hype about Jason Hill up until a week or two ago. Is he still worth rostering? WR 4/5 type?

Randy Moss - does he play this season?

Roy Williams? Is he a legitimate WR2/3 this season?

To follow up on this question regarding upside down drafting. How does the strategy change (ie Waldman's article on upside down drafting), if at all, when you are in a 12 team league with 16 roster spots and starters are 1QB/2RB/3WR/1TE/1Flex(RB/WR/TE)/1PK/1Def. Scoring is:1 pt/per 30yds passing; -2per int; +3 at 300yds; +3 at 400yds1pt/per 10yds rush; +3 at 100yds; +3 at 200yds1pt/per 15yds receiving; +3 at 100; +3 at 200-2 fumble; 6pts for all TD’sAlso sent Waldman an email on this question that has a small follow up regarding auction draft. Thanks,This is my BOOM STICK!P.S. disregard my signature line as that is my auction league info.

Sorry for yet another question but I draft in a few days and I have reason to believe 1.01 team is taking Daniel Thomas. I have the 1.02 and 1.05. Considering other teams between my two picks I think I will land Ryan Williams at 1.05. Who do I take at 1.02 if Thomas goes at 1.01? AJ or Ingram? I'm in a 14-keeper, 10-team dynasty league.

Here's my team:

Eli

Matty Ice

(2 qb to draft)

Mendy

SJax

Forte

Tolbert

(2 rb to draft)

Nicks

Bowe

Dez Bryant

Crabtree

(2 wr to draft)

Gates

Finley

Pitt Def/ST

KC Def/ST

Muchas gracias!

...and Beanie Wells was dropped by another team.
