I have Miles Austin in several leagues, and was not impressed with Kitna's lack of attention towards him (even the FBG rankings have him outside the top 20 this week!). Can you talk me off the cliff? Was that game more of a matchup thing or are we going to see Kitna look toward Dez Bryant (to Austin's detriment) more as the season progresses?
One last thing...definitely need my boys to break out the pliers and blowtorch. Time to get medieval on SF...
How do you guys feel about Vincent Jackson going in to next season? Will he still produce on another team or did he really just benefit from Rivers along with Gates pulling some coverage?
Maybe talk a bit about waiver wire defenses for those of us that grab one weekly? Maybe look at a typical bottom 12?
Everyone’s bottom 12, or WW defenses, is different, so I’ll just list some that may be there. How about teams like the Vikings, Giants, Cowboys, Dolphins, Colts, Saints, Browns, Chiefs, Rams, and Falcons.
Any thoughts on them, especially the big name ones like the Vikings, Cowboys and Giants?
TJ Houch's Value (if any) going forward. Is he a cut or hold for next season in Dynasty? Does he have more value than Blair white, Damian Williams, Mardy Gilyard WW types?
With many teams and RB's on bye this week, who would you guys say is the best desperation play out of the following: Darren Sproles, Derrick Ward, Marion Barber and Cadillac?
I have questions about a few deep sleepers I have been rostering in some of my dynasty leagues and wonder if I should remain patient or cut bait on these guys. Maybe they need to change teams in the off season to get their chance to play?
1) Tyrell Sutton? I'm not sure he has carried the ball at all this year. Liked what I saw last year.
2) Kevin Ogletree? Did the drafting of Dez just kill this guy? Will he get a shot next year?
3) Zach Miller (Jacksonville)? I think he's been hurt much of this year. Likewise, I liked what I saw last year.
Also, I was very confused about what happened to Jeremiah Johnson this week with Washington. Did he go back to the Houston practice squad? I really liked what I have seen of this guy, and I don't know why he isn't getting a chance with all of the RB injuries this year. Can you shed some light?
Thanks, and as always I enjoy your thoughts and commentary.
1) What are your thoughts on the up and coming teams this year, STL, TB, DET who have a strong DEF Coach matched with a young QB? What things do you think came together for these teams to make them competitive (and entertaining)?
What lessons can teams (or fantasy players) take from how these teams came together to try to predict the offenses who might surge in the future?
2) What teams do you think will pick it up in the second half of the season? Can CAR pull up with Matt Moore back in place? How about SF, with Troy Smith?
3) Now that some teams could effectively be out of the playoffs, which ones could do something drastic that might submarine the fantasy values of other skill players? Tebow in for DEN, Romo to IR and McGee in for DAL?
Your show is the single BEST source of fantasy information out there. Keep up the great work. I see Louis Murphy has an injured chest. Aside from Zach Miller, who are we likely to see on the receiving end of the Oakland offense? Is Heyward-Bey a lost cause? Is Chaz Schilens due back anytime soon? Will we see Jacoby Ford step up? Do any of them have any dynasty value going forward? Thanks guys!
Have you gotten a chance to see Ryan Fitzpatrick play this season? What do you think of his talent currently? Will he get better, regress, or stay the same as teams get more film on him?
To piggy back on the Fitzpatrick question, I am seriously considering starting Fitzpatrick over Schaub this week. The air pressure around me suggests I may be standing in the middle of a hype tornado, but Schaub killed me with the Texans run first gameplan vs. Indy week 1 and I see no reason why the plan wouldn't be the same Monday. Also Freeney and Mathis get even better at home with the help of the crowd noise. And Fitz went to Harvard!!!! And the Bills D guarantees he will need to throw for 4 quarters.
Ok guys, I’m on a nice little 4 game winning streak and much like everyone else this week I’m in bye week hell. I need a PPR WR for this week out of this group of guys:
Britt @ SD- Guy dropped him last week due to the brawl but I highly doubt he’ll make it to me
I have Felix Jones in a keeper league (6 players each year) and he will be one of my borderline guys as far as keeping in 2011. Can you talk about Felix Jones going forward in 2010 and then projecting his role in 2011. I have been pleasantly surprised with his increased role because Jerry Jones said so a few weeks ago and he clearly looks like the best back in Dallas. Barring injury do you guys see him as the 1A RB going forward for the foreseeable future?
Guys in my league must listen to the show as I always get comments about my questions. Question of the night: I have depth at WR and an owner wants Mike Williams (TB). I have Ray Rice, Arian Foster, and Fred Jackson as my top 3 backs. (BTW, I have R Moss, Nicks, M Williams SEA and S. Smith CAR as well). Should I move M Williams for M. Lynch or Beanie Wells or hold out for a better offer? Shout out to Sparky! Thanks guys!
Do you guys think rookie WRs can make a big jump in productivity from the first half of the season to the second as they get more experience in their team's particular system? I have 3 rookie wideouts- Bryant, Thomas and McCluster- so wondering how you see the second half for these guys, esp in December.
