I'm not a fan of binge watching shows. I caught up to Dexter's final season by watching on Netflix but it took me about a year to get through all the previous seasons.

Some real romanticizing of Doakes going on up in here. His character was ridiculous too, he just appeared in the beginning of the series. If he was added in seasons 7 and 8 then y'all would've been big Doakes haters.

When I first watched the show I thought he was just an awful actor going waaaaay over the top. It was better in season 2, but that's because of the story line and not the actor imo.

-The "Hello, Dexter Morgan" scene, where Trinity finds out Dexter's real name.

-When Dexter headbutted Doakes in his lab room and then walked out in to the squad room, provoking him into attacking him in front of everyone in the homicide department, making it look like he did it unprovoked.

I would say when Deb said fillet f*** and when the reporter was nude in season 4.

Should we be expecting “Harrison: Young Blood” coming out soon?

Not as of now. A second season of New Blood was shelved. But there is talk of a Dexter Origins series as being in early stages of development.
