I hope this is a dynasty league otherwise that owner needs his head examined.Being trying to move CJ for a couple of weeks but am getting complete lowball offers.Sold last week. CJ for Steve Smith (CAR) and Stephen Jackson. Worked out very well this week.

It's only going to get worse... Succeed over the long haul? Not sure he gets that chance anytime soon. IMO the Colts game was his "make or break" moment... he's looks to be done. And for those that think it can't happen "that fast"... go tell that to Shaun Alexander. And for those that think a big pay day will keep getting him the carries he needs... go talk to DeAngelo Williams.If Javon Ringer takes over, I think the Titans would be forced to cut CJ<1K after this season.
I'm no NFL capologist, but I'm assuming an outright cut is not a feasible option. I'm not sure the age/contract is comparable on the other 2 scenarios either, plus J Stew was closer to Deangelo than Ringer was to CJ before the contract.

I'm at the point where I am having to package him with a receiver (DeSean/Fitz) to TRY and get a trade... even then, no one is really biting.
May be stuck with CJ burning a spot on the bench until he figures out how to get it going...much like the Titans. At least fantasy is meeting reality.

We'll see. It is a keeper auction league. I scooped Jamaal Charles off the waiver wire for league minimum salary. I'm going to try and package Charles and Chris Johnson to an owner with Andre (highest salaried player in that league). Andre owner is this close to being out of playoff contention.
Major 1 week blunder. I was offered SJax, AJGreen and Witten for CJ_too_overpaid_k, Lloyd and Graham. this for the 1st place team in my division. we are tied, he has tie breaker. I instead take Rice, Harvin for CJK, JStew and Lloyd. From the team playing the SJax owner. Obviously the SJax owner clobbers the new Cj owner. I win, get high score for the week and we are still tied. Dam, I could have had sole possession of 1st place and my nemesis stuck with CJ.

Not regretting the trade...yet. As any of the 4 rbs in the trade would be planted on the bench behind LeSean and Bradshaw until/if proven to be reliable.

Traded CJ in the off season for J. Charles. My gut feeling was that Charles was going to disappoint (and I didn't want to deal with Haley's wims), so I then traded Charles for Forte.

Last week traded Brees/MJD for Rivers/CJ/1st round pick in a dynasty.
Not feeling great about it after last week but I also think CJ will do better, if not this year, next year when Britt is back and they can improve the o-line. Or maybe it was just a dead trade.
At least I got the first. Now I just need Rivers to turn it around.

This is where I'm at in the one league in which I own him. Not really burning up to deal him yet, but pinged one owner who's RB poor about interest. In the back and forth they told me they'd be interested if I included a WR(in this case, also Desean). When I said "I might consider that, depending on the 2nd player coming back" the owner offered me a comparably maddening RB and Owen Daniels(it's a TE premium setup).Another owner I approached, just to put out some feelers, basically told me the same thing(without naming any players). "I'd have interest, but I'd want Position X coming my way as well."

To make matters worse, I have Rivers quarterbacking my "elite suck squad" and Mendenhall as my RB2. Ahmad Bradshaw was going to be my strong flex play. Turns out he's my anchor rb and CJ is my flex play. Not to mention Vernon Davis is underwhelming (I picked up Fred Davis off waivers to counteract that mistake). At least I have Mike Wallace and Larry Fitz.At the start of the season, I thought I had achieved a coup... who'd have thought?**trade update **Guy who offered me Jake Ballard decided he'd rather have Ballard and canceled the trade. Wow.

This league only has 4 playoff spots. I was desparate for a RB1. The guy I traded with only had Carson Palmer and Orton as his other QBs, but now I only have Fitzpatrick as a QB for this year. Hope he doesn't get hurt. Luckily I took the lead in my division this week, and the 1st rounder should be top 3 as the guy only has 1 win this season. I now have 3 1st round picks, so I could easily end up landing Luck.

Not proud of it, but traded Beanie & Colston for CJ, Harvin, and Lance Moore. I just took my 5th loss of the season, am destined to miss the playoffs, and am angling for scheduling in our Consolation Tournament to try and pull some prize money out of this season. Hoping CJ gets it together by then and kills his 13-16 soft schedule.

That's what I thought would have happened. I am stacked at TE, but week at RB, but now that I have thought about it I am glad he rejected it.
Traded CJ and Roddy White over the summer for Shonn Greene, Calvin Johnson and Brandon Lloyd. I got ripped for it at that time but I feel decent about the trade right now. I would rather have Calvin than about anyone in the league at this point so it fit what I was trying to do from Dynasty purposes.

I have no idea what to make of CJ...it looks like he literally does not give a $--t. Thanks for the payday, but this football stuff is kinda boring.

2 weeks ago, when he was being trumpeted as the guy to grab, I was desperate for an RB1 (CJ was coming off his two best performances of the season), so I traded Nicks, Hardesty and Battle, for CJ and Vernon Davis. Been kicking myself ever since.

This team is in the hunt for the division and his schedule is a bit better than Hillis.

Thanks for this post. Made the identical offer for CJ yesterday after reading and it was accepted today. I'm a buyer because this is basically preseason for Johnson IMHO and he will hit stride by playoffs, when I will need him.
