Bought about $250 worth of shirts today at Macys. I think ofdee might approve. I'll post pics later.
I know you've all been waiting with popcorn in hand to see my new clothes. Here they are:Striped 1

Striped 2

Billabong

White 1

White 2
Striped 2 is the only one I'd recommend keeping.Billabong is OK, but pretty boring overall....just looks like a regular grey shirt to me.

White 1 is really bad...don't wear that, and return immediately.

Question, what's your height and weight, if you don't mind me asking? Reason being these shirts all look really wide with long sleeves from these pics....you want to make sure stuff fits nicely and not overly baggy. You could have the best shirt ever and if it's just sitting on you like a big sack it's going to look like crap.

Thumbs up for trying to mix it up though and getting out of your usual comfort zone a little. :goodposting:
I'm 5'11", 190 pounds. I'm about 15 or 20 pounds overweight. The shirts aren't baggy, they're large - which is a decent fit for me. Actually, the Billabong shirt isn't very plain if you see it in person.

i'd have to check my notebook for confirmation but i believe he said he looks like a skinhead. you know, big dude with a shaved head. he scared some old lady in the local grocery wearing one of his old punk t-shirts or something like that.
:goodposting: Yes, although I'm not rockin' the skinhead look right now.

Whats the :style: for hats? Is baseball cap still ok, or has it gotten old?
The hip hop :style: for baseball caps is to wear them with a flat brim and a little oversized....for a regular white boy I would not recommend this. Wearing a baseball cap with a big St. Louis arch bent brim is pretty played out.I'm personally not a huge hat guy, but prefer the short billed cadet cap when it comes to :style:

Has been, is and will always be the way I wear my hat. The arch may be less dramatic than in the past but the first thing I do with any hat is bend that f'er :nostyle:I lvoe wearing my hats that still have the white salt streaks and faded colors. I don't BUY pre worn looking crap!!!

offdee, I need an old-school suit, help me out. Think Bing Crosby, where the turf meets the surf at Del Mar. Hat and all. THESE fellas should give you an idea of the look. Cheaper the better, of course, it's a couple of times a year thing.

Noticed some double-breasted ones in those photos, not into that so much. But a white jacket would be tight. And those white two-tone wing-tips those guys wear...that's what I'm talking about, stuff like that. :bowtie:

UPDATE: this shirt was too tight around my massive biceps, and I need to return it. Thinking about exchanging it for a pair of jorts.
jdog?
I'm too lazy to use a razor when I shave the dome. I just use the electric shaver with no extension.

:missing: Why return it?Just cut off the sleeves! Its the way the shirt was meant to be :style:

Going to the strip club in a nice polo and stylish jeans. Figure I'm gonna rate about a 9.
You don't wear jeans to a strip club. EVERYONE knows this.
Apparently you don't know what "dressed to the nines" means  Totally expect to impress the strippers with this getup.
Of course I know what that means but for quality stripper action you want the thinnest material possible for lap dancing purposes.I prefer commando -gym pants :coffee:

Does that mean you're keeping all the other ones? Please, don't wear the one with the snakeskin twirly design....PLEASE!

Good news for us Target fans. Rast makes some quality stuff for dudes and one of Offdee's favorites:

Timberlake's William Rast to launch at Target

NEW YORK – William Rast, the fashion line by Justin Timberlake and his childhood friend Trace Ayala, has a new partner: Target.

The retailer announced Thursday that a William Rast collection, including denim, outerwear and sportswear for men and women, would launch in December and be available for a month.

Target has had a steady stream of limited-edition partnerships with top-level designers, including Zac Posen, Jean Paul Gaultier, Rodarte and Proenza Schouler, giving the retailer a certain prestige among the fashion crowd and bringing designer labels down to a more affordable price point.

The typical William Rast look is casual, with an emphasis on jeans and leather jackets. The fall runway collection, presented earlier this year at New York Fashion Week, was dubbed "New America" and inspired by road trips between the Mississippi River and the West Coast, Timberlake said.

Thoughts on this? If it makes any difference I am an African American 25 year old male with an athletic figure.
It's fine...nothing great about it, nothing bad about it. Pretty classic looking zip up sweater.Personally I'd find one without the big Lion graphic on the chest....this is the Express logo and to me comes off as cheap (I'm just not a fan of big brand logos on clothing...keep it simple and streamlined and let the details, fabric, stitching, etc. make the statement)

About to go out and liking the 'shirt before the shirt' schtick. Feeling fresh and clean.
Was shirt #1 a wife beater or regular tank top? White or black?
What's the difference? I thought the undershirt types were the same.
Agreed, very similar, but slightly different IMO.I consider a tank top to be a little thicker material, thicker straps, maybe a design of some sort...more or less meant to be worn as an actual shirt and not an undershirt

Wife beater to me is just a simple, plain, thinner material, thinner straps and meant to be worn as an undershirt.
